Voucher cancellation & refund policy: Within 7 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to “My Account.” After 7 days, your voucher is nonrefundable. The overall service was very disappointing. All the staff we dealt with were very gruff and not very helpful at all. Our room was across the street from reception and they gave us no information about how to get there and where to park. We were given no information about the included breakfast. And to top it off when I got home there were two charges on my credit card for the two rooms ($622 each). Even though they said we had a zero balance when we checked out. And when my friend called after we got home about the service she had to leave a voicemail and never got a callback.

We had been here before but brought friends from Pennsylvania for their first trip to Napa. They were very impressed by the property and loved walking the vineyard in the mornings. Saw the bowling alleys which I think is a new addition-didn't get to use them but looked very fun.

The check in staff and one particular receptionist at Olive and Hay need better customer service training. All the waiters at Olive and Hay were excellent and very attentive. Our room maid was very friendly. When we walked through the hallways to get to the room, the housekeepers would say hello and ask if we needed anything, even though they weren’t particularly cleaning our room. We liked that they cared enough about our comfort. The hallways all smell refreshing, as well as the room.

The package we received from TravelZoo was a really good value. Everything went well and the rooms was very nice. Food and wine prices at the resort seemed a bit high but are probably pretty comparable to other nice hotels in the area. I would suggest that future travelers to the resort have a car to really be able to enjoy the area.

Communication seemed to need some work. Either messages didn't get through or staff didn't read them. Assigned to a room by the pool when I specifically asked not to be by the pool. They fixed it.

Really nice property, convenient to both Sonoma and Napa, and there is a lot to do at the resort. The breakfast included in the Travelzoo offer was very hearty and my wife and I barely needed anything for lunch. The grounds are well maintained and spent a day by the pool. They have their own vineyards and wine tasting rooms as well. Overall, very nice stay and deal from Travelzoo.

Registration desk for check in horrible. One check in person, and a long line of unhappy people. Rooms were nice. This hotel in middle of corporate business park. The service area in caves of the “vineyard view” rooms noisy at times. Restaurants good. All in all, a great package.
