Management did not enforce spa etiquette. The spa was extremely noisy, there were dirty cups everywhere. Granted it was raining outside and apparently they allowed guests who were at the pool to come in and use the spa, but it completely disrupted the "tranquility of the spa experience" which is what I paid for. I could use the spa at work at a deep discount, but I enjoy resort spa experiences. Unfortunately, I won't visit this spa again because of today's experience and I won't be recommending this spa to any of my friends.
I typically go to Joya Spa at the Montelucia Resort, and the Spa at the Camelback Inn, which I purchase vouchers for through Travelzoo and I will continue to buy those, but I won't buy any for the Fairmont Princess, Scottsdale.

My rating is twofold. While we enjoyed the spa and actual massage itself, the spa pool was lacking in staff, food quality and lounges to enjoy the pool area. Since there are so many other spas to choose from in the area we will not come back to this one because of this.

Five stars for actual massage and spa itself. Zero for spa pool and food they provide. Grossly overpriced and couldn’t eat the soggy salad and flavorless wrap once they finally were delivered to us by a young man who was literally just a delivery person, who could not give us condiments which we had to wait another half hour for. In the end we left to allow some other guests to have our lounges since they do not have enough to accommodate the guests utilising the spa.

It was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We decided to do a Girls' Spa Day and when the Travelzoo rate popped up, we jumped in. We started our morning with a Yoga stretch and meditation, used the steam room, did a cold plunge, enjoyed our complimentary beverage while we lounged and napped by the pool, enjoyed a delicious lunch, got our massages, and ended in the aromatherapy room. We did find one of the managers to be very rude we came with a large group and at times some were talking a little loud in the steam sauna area because of the high ceilings it echos badly she didn’t ask in a polite way and was also rude when there was one extra person in our group in the cold plunge she rudely pointed out only 4 can be in, then she proceeded to stand in the room and stare at us all like we were a bunch of kids not women in our 50s. Was one of the more unprofessional behavior I’ve seen. She needs more customer service training

The roof top pool was unavailable and the outdoor jetted pool in tranquility area was out of service so there was only the inside hot tub which was very small and over crowded.. Then there was no hot water in showers and mold on shower walls and corners. Not good for this high end establishment!

The was an amazing experience from start to finish. Check in was wonderful and I received pleasant greetings from all staff members along with an unrushed tour of the facility. An added surprise was the well equipped gym which was not mentioned in the list of available services. There was a very peaceful center atrium where food and drinks were served. The strawberry lemonade was a nice bonus. The staff member working in at area was extremely responsive and focused on making me feel very comfortable. Downstairs, there was a calming outdoor area which included seating and a coed waterfall spa. In the men's locker area there was an excellent layout of amenities including a sauna, steam room, Swiss shower, eucalyptus inhalation room, cold plunge and hot tub. It allowed easy access for each amenity and the attendant did an excellent job of drying the floors next to the cold plunge and hot tub, as well as quickly clearing all used towels and robes. The massage rooms were numbered, very well laid out, and not a long walk from the relaxation area. I had Joy as my massage therapist and she was fantastic! She adjusted the pressure to my comfort and was very thorough in her technique. My only disappointment was that it was only a 60 minute massage. Next time I will definitely get 90 minutes...and there will definitely be a next time! I have have experienced a number of spas in the area and this one was the best. I highly recommend the Well & Being Spa and it is a great value for what you receive.

Our massage and facial were both wonderful experiences. The staff at the spa are so friendly and skilled at their craft. The facilities are well maintained and offer great variety (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold plunge pool). We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging at the adults-only pool which capped off our day nicely. Will definitely return again and highly recommend this paradise in the desert.
