About the Destination

To reach Phuket, guests will typically fly to Phuket International Airport (HKT). From there, it's a 50-minute drive to the resort. Private transfers can be organized via the resort and are not included in this deal.

It is lovely, but stairs are difficult for me. It is hard to tell from photos, but the hill the resort is built on is very steep. The room is fabulous with a very firm bed. A bit too firm for me, but I am sleeping well. The breakfast buffet is the best I’ve ever encountered. It has something for everyone including gluten free bread and muffins. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. I just wish there was an elevator.

I had a really great time at this hotel. The grounds are lush and immaculately kept and the beach is in a spot where there are still waves, but very gentle ones. I was also very impressed with the pools-actually deep enough to swim in! The food and drinks were abundant and prepared with care, and the room I stayed in was beautiful. A couple of notes though-I was very surprised by how steep the property is-so steep that there is a tram to the beach and even though there is access to the sister property and restaurants, those require a shuttle ride because the roads are at a wild incline. Anyone with mobility issues may wish to steer clear. The staff were very kind and always willing to chat or help with any issues.

The meals/cocktails included as part of my Travel Zoo purchase were pretty limited. Even though the menu that I was handed said “choose 3 courses” I was told that my options were limited to two, and only a very short list of cocktails were part of the package. Also, when I booked my Coral Island excursion, I was specifically told that everyone else in the group would get lunch, but my trip did not include food. It felt weird to be singled out that way. The breakfast buffet was amazing though. I hope that the hotel will consider adding a ramen bar in the future. That was one of the few missing things.

Cape Panwa is in a great location. Near restaurants and not too far from Old Phuket and the mall. They provide free transporation down the hill to restaurants . Our room was beautiful with amazing views of the ocean and hills. The food was very good, staff excellent and overall great accommodations. We did not use the pool but the beach area is beautiful with plenty of seating and a café for drinks and snacks nearby. We would go back again.

I can't believe how easy it was to book. Sometimes with vouchers there are very strict requirements in the small print. Within hours of reaching out directly to the hotel, I received a reply confirming the dates I wanted, and a reminder to bring my voucher. Check-in was smooth, and we were shown to our room right away. The staff here is welcoming and always happy to help. The resort is also very large, and the beach and pool never felt crowded or noisy. The location provides postcard photo opportunities at every turn, and the variety of meal options has something for everyone.

Loved the hotel and the travel zoo perks that came with it! Daily breakfast, two dinners, daily drink for two, trip to coral island (the best!). I did end up upgrading to a seaview suite and had to pay extra for high season but still seemed like a good deal.

Very nice quiet location of Phuket. Beach and ocean are wonderful. The food is decent. The breakfast buffet is average. The hotel is good but definitely dated. It has been updated mostly. Exterior is still dated but really just esthetic . We had a room in the J building. 2nd floor. A nice ocean view. The room is quite large and spacious.

The hotel was wonderful. We loved our room and our visit. The private beach was beautiful. It is a little out of the way from most things a tourist would want so see and visit, but we loved the quietness of the location.
