To reach The Haven Khao Lak, travelers will fly into Phuket International Airport; from there, it's about a 75-minute drive to the resort. Airport transfers can be arranged through the hotel at an additional cost. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange transportation.

Voucher cancellation and refund policy: Within 14 days of purchasing your voucher(s), Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you do not have an active reservation with the hotel. The hotel was awesome! The wrap around pool is one of the most unique features I have ever seen. The staff and the amenities were good, as well as the breakfast buffet and the bar. The only 'con' about the location is its distance from the city. The resort is in the Phang Na district which is an hour-and-a-half from the town and district of Phuket. If you are celebrating an anniversary or your honeymoon, this is the perfect place to do it.

Our villa #5116 was very quiet and private. The staff made our stay amazing. The pool and jacuzzi tub were very clean but neither were heated. They were both refreshing, even though the outside temperatures and humidity levels were high. We enjoyed the food and the cocktails. We felt nurtured by our servers and bartenders. There were lots of activities and free bikes available at the hotel. It also had a little library, a gift shop and a wonderful spa that stayed very busy. Book those appointments in advance. There were daily shuttles into town which is 20 - 30 minutes away, depending upon road conditions and traffic. A great elephant sanctuary was nearby. The hotel booked pur tour there for us. It was a fantastic experience. We would love to return and stay in that same villa with it's own pool access again!

The travelzoo deal is great value and we did enjoy our time at the Haven, however there are a few cons. Beautiful scenic views of the beach, staff were friendly and the Thai massage was a great experience. However compared to other neighbouring 5 star hotels in the area, for me the Haven falls short. Rooms are outdated and there needs to be more attention paid to the cleaning of rooms. In my opinion this is a 4 star hotel at the most. But if you are looking for a quiet break, with pretty views- I would recommend the Haven Khao Lak.

I stayed at The Haven for two full weeks at the end of a nonstop three-month solo trip through Southeast Asia, and it ended up being exactly what I needed. I purchased two Travelzoo vouchers for about $300/week, and for that price, I honestly felt like it was an incredible value for the experience I had. After constantly moving around for months, I specifically wanted somewhere peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable where I could completely slow down — and this resort gave me exactly that. In fact, I never left the resort once during my two-week stay because I genuinely didn’t feel the need to. The room was one of my favorite parts. It was surprisingly spacious and had everything I needed to settle in comfortably for an extended stay: a desk, sitting area, large balcony, TV, plenty of storage space, and a very nice bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the pillows were great, which honestly matters a lot after months of traveling. Housekeeping came daily and always left plenty of bottled water, coffee, and tea. The staff throughout the resort were consistently kind and welcoming, and room service was reliable and convenient whenever I ordered it. The breakfast buffet every morning was excellent and probably one of the highlights of my stay. There was a huge selection including fresh fruit, pastries, coffee machines, made-to-order eggs and omelets, and plenty of other options. It became one of my favorite parts of each day. The pool area is also beautiful — huge, relaxing, and right beside the beach. Even though the resort is beachfront, I honestly spent most of my time enjoying the pool and the view from the property itself rather than going down onto the beach. A couple things are worth knowing before booking:The resort is fairly far from Phuket, and my airport transfer cost around $60–80 USD one way. Also, prices inside the resort are definitely much higher than typical Thailand pricing. I had been traveling around Thailand for over a month before arriving here, and massages elsewhere were usually around $10–15 USD, while spa treatments here were closer to resort pricing at around $50 USD. Food and drinks are also more expensive than what you’ll find in local restaurants around Thailand. That said, I also understand that this is a secluded resort experience, and the convenience and atmosphere are part of what you’re paying for. There are apparently a few nearby restaurants within walking distance, although I personally never left the property during my stay. I also visited during rainy season, and it rained every single day I was here — but surprisingly, it still did not ruin my experience at all. The resort was so comfortable and peaceful that I genuinely enjoyed simply relaxing in my room, sitting on the balcony, enjoying breakfast, and spending time by the pool. Overall, this was the perfect place for me to completely slow down and recharge before heading home after months of travel, and I’m really glad I chose to spend the final part of my trip here.

The ambience is so beautiful at The Haven. The common reception area where you can relax. Anytime of the day includes a bar and pool table and lots of cozy little nooks and ample seating areas to be alone or with groups. The breakfast area is right next to the main area for easy access. The breakfast is plentiful with me to order eggs however you’d like, sausages and bacon, French toast, pancakes, waffles, with all kinds of toppings, all the fresh fruits. You can imagine hot dishes if you’d like something more like Thai meals, a salad area with a variety of toppings and cheese area and also a bread area with a extensive selection of breads to make toast or eat the way they are. Coffee, teas, and fresh juices abound. The pool is large and extensive with wraparound bars and lots of views of the beach, including a shower area and so many selections of cushioned chairs to lean back on and lounge with umbrellas for shade all around. The pool is clean and sparkly and a perfect temperature for floating swimming or just bouncing around…. Float toys are available also. The beach is right next to everywhere that you are and you can walk for miles with beautiful seashells and the color of the.Andaman Sea is mesmerizing with a darker turquoise tone. The rooms are big and beautiful and comfortable with a sitting area as well as a bed and a desk and a tea area and a ample closet Was safe and the bedroom is large in the shower is large.. very happy with everything about this place. In addition, they have fun things to do every day like tai chi water aerobics Pilates they even have aqua tai chi! Inside the reception area they have arts and crafts going on. For example they have batik painting and coconut leaf flowers and fish making, cooking class, and they also have outings every day like sea kayaks, and bike rides! Wide variety of activities are available each day.
