Voucher cancellation and refund policy: Within 14 days of purchasing your voucher(s), Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you do not have an active reservation with the hotel. Once you book your dates, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel's cancellation or rescheduling policy and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. If you have made a reservation, you must cancel your reservation directly with the hotel prior to refunding your voucher. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to "My Account.” After 14 days, your voucher becomes nonrefundable. Hotel cancellation policy: Once you’ve made your reservation, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel’s policy. Cancellations must be made with the hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty. Occupancy rules: Price based on up to 2 guests per room. Additional adults can stay for $20 per person, per night. Children 5 and under stay free of charge. Maximum occupancy varies by suite type, ranging from 2–6 guests in upgraded suites.
Additional hotel-specific charges: A 12.5% occupancy tax is not included and will be paid directly to the hotel. Parking is complimentary.

Wonderful. Only complaint is their breakfast is not kept hot. This has been a continuing problem over all our stays.

This is our go to place. Close to wine tasting, site seeing and relaxing. We have been coming for years and usually 3 times each year.

The restaurant has a wonderful dinner menu. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety. So nice to stroll the grounds and love the deer outside my room almost every trip at least once.

The hotel was clean but dated. The room was dark, the lamps had very low wattage bulbs which made it hard to read, the area where the microwave and other amenities were located had no light to see, there were no TV instructions for a complex channel selection, no hot water for a day and a half, sanitary tissue thin and cheap. The breakfast buffet was horrible ,i.e., the scrambled eggs and the egg casserole were cold and very, very stiff; the blueberries had been frozen and were stringy and leathery, very few other choices to select from. The staff member greeting people was very rude! She said I was hard of hearing for having her repeat a question in her broken, noncomprehensive English. She never answered my question.

When booking (2 months in advance) I was told there were no more king rooms. At the hotel I asked about a king room and I was told if I wanted to pay $30 more per night I could have a king bed. I wasn't going to pay an $60 plus tax!

The grounds are peaceful and beautiful. The first room we had was full of ants. We were moved. Rooms are older and it shows. No a/c. and pool did not feel heated.

What a deal! Two nights and dinner with a bottle of wine. The dinner was great, no special menu. In fact I had the most expensive entrée -- the surf and turf. The wine was delightful. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff very nice. Cambria is a charming little village. If you are wavering...stop it and book it now!

We visit this hotel at least annually and have a specific room we prefer. We requested that room at booking, but was told it wasn’t available when we arrived. They did give us a selection of alternates, which was good, but we’d prefer to be able to book the specific room.

Is a lodge like feel/cabin type resort in the trees/woods, and if this is what you are looking for, you are in luck b/c this place is awesome! While the rooms may be older, they are super spacious and have a lot of nice extras, like fireplaces, heat lamps in the bathrooms, etc. The included dinner with wine was YUMMY, and the breakfast in the mornings is such a lovely addition/perk. My favorite part about this resort is the live music everynight in the lounge - such a nice casual atmosphere and I just LOVE sitting there, singing along with the older hits being played by a musician on his guitar.....

Excellent staff, friendly and warm. Beautiful, interesting grounds especially for the Holidays. The room we had was very dated and tired and we never had internet service. Hot water went out and fireplaces did not work however staff fixed both problems.

Close to downtown Cambria and San Simeon/Hearst Castle. Lots to do in the adjacent areas, too such as wine tasting in Paso Robles (35 Min), viewing elephant seals (20 minutes) and coastline hikes (10 min).

The included breakfast was not very good, so we went out to eat on the second morning. the room was fine, but we were right next to the stairs, so it was very noisy with folks going up and down the stairs at all hours of the day and night.
