This resort, nestled in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, offers the ultimate analog vacation.
Why We Love This Deal
Offer must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 13.
Tucked deep in the forests of Northern California, Trinity Alps Resort is the kind of place families return to again and again—so much so that there’s often a 7+ year waitlist to nab a cabin. For a limited time, Travelzoo members can skip the line with end-of-summer weeklong stays at 50% off.
The resort sits near Trinity Lake, where you can rent a boat for a day on the water. Come evening, the resort comes alive with old-school charm: singalongs by the fire, square dancing, friendly games of bingo and community gatherings. It’s one of California’s most beloved off-the-grid escapes.

The resort has been around since the early 1920s and provides a family-friendly mountain camping experience with the added comfort of a rustic (no-heat) cabin with bathrooms (including hot showers) and basic kitchens. The Stuart Fork River flows through the resort and is full of rainbow and brown trout, making it a great spot for fishing. Numerous hiking trails are nearby to explore some of the 500,000-acre Trinity Alps Wilderness. There is also a general store on property where guests can fill up on all of the essentials; and a bar and grill that serves up classic American fare. Trinity Alps Resort is a 5-hour drive from San Francisco, 3 hours from Medford, Oregon, and 2 hours from Mount Shasta.
