Great location, friendly staff, clean, comfortable bed.

Housekeeping available every other day. When housekeepers came, towels were replaced but bed left unmade. Water was scalding hot or freezing cold and next to impossible to regulate. The only way to get hot water at the sink was to run hot water in the tub/shower.

The hotel had a great location for walking in NYC and close proximity to anything one would want to do. The staff were professional, customer oriented and very helpful. The room was adequate, the bed was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed on this trip. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Fantastic location of a 3 star hotel. Close to everything. Everything near the hotel. Lots still under construction like functioning door pads, elevators, & towel supply. Staff super supportive & resolves issues quickly. Be sure to ask how to turn off the lights in the room. Breakfast is truly "Grab'n Go" but adequate if to you're not too fussy. Definitely would stay here again. We spent our time enjoying NYC!

I worried when I booked a room in NYC for $99 that it would not be great but for the price, I took a chance. All of the staff were friendly - reception, cleaning staff & workmen. I received early check in & late check out with TravelZoo & were given it without a problem - nice to not have to walk around with our luggage. We were told we could scan a qr code to get a grab and go breakfast delivered to our door & there was tea& coffee available in lobby 24hrs. No problem with getting elevators & they were clean. Room was decent size for NYC & price! It was clean but I always sanitize everything no matter where I stay & always check for bed bugs- none! I really liked that I could open the window- just a few inches but I really like fresh air and they had a darkening shade under the curtain! I hate hotels that have flimsy window coverings so I wake up at 5am! The bed was comfortable. The location was great for Broadway shows, great dining and we attended the Modern Museum of Art - all on foot. It was a fabulous day and night in NYC! Breakfast was hung on the door in a bag early in morning. It was prepackaged muffins, name brand cereals, juice boxes and milk boxes. I gave the items to my son who attends a college in NYC. I would go back because of location, staff, and the $ you save with TravelZoo you can splurge on Theatre, Museums and dining!

Staff was great. Very nice, very helpful. Location was within walking distance of tourist sites, subway stations, breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning. Nothing special, but adequate. Free coffee in the lobby.
The room was small, as expected. A little scuffed up, but not awful. Could have used a small fridge and microwave.
All and all, it was quite comfortable and in a great location.

Our room wasn’t ready at 3:00 so we were told to come back in 20, then wait another 10 when it still wasn’t ready. Not a huge issue since they had bag check, but it meant we missed the window for ordering free breakfast. The shower head was squirrelly but the water was hot! Overall it was a positive experience and we would go back.

Early check-in was not available, so I had to wait a while for my room. Then I got the feeling that I was given an undesirable room on the 2nd floor (even though the deal was for a high floor room) because I inquired more than once how long it would take for the room to be ready. The room was clean enough but the quality of it was mediocre. There was only 1 clean bath towel and a second dirty one hanging that looked like it was a cleaning rag. The window was drafty and the AC/heat unit was very noisy.

The hotel staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean. Small perks: coffee and tea in lobby, slippers in room, grab and go bagged breakfast on doorknob in morning. Only gave one towel, one hand towel and one washcloth, though there were two of us. Requested a second set, but same thing happened the next day. Overcharged, but corrected when checking out. (Residence fee was not waived as travel zoo deal, but refund is expected). The location was convenient.

The hotel was not exactly what I was expecting. I would definitely use it for a one night stay only. Rooms were a bit small and there was virtually no storage space, which is why I would recommend for a one night stay. We stayed in the snow and freezing cold weather, with lots of heavy clothing and not much space to put things. That said, the room was spotless and the staff were great. The included "breakfast" was nothing more than a packaged pastry/muffin, a piece of fruit and juice or a small package of cereal and milk. One nice feature was the all day coffee/tea provided in the reception area.

Despite the terrible winter snow condition of January 25-28, they refused to allow me to cancel my reservation. I was unable to get to New York so I am out more than $400 for a room, I could not use. Travel zoo should not work with hotels with such a rigid cancellation policy.

The hotel is in a great location with walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, Port Authority, and several subway lines for great access to anywhere in the city one would like to go. The room is plain and typically small for the city but clean. The shower was as warm as you would like it to be and the water pressure was good. The check in process was smooth and everyone we encountered was friendly.

The toilet was broken, the room didn’t have a fridge unless you want to pay extra, the light was broken, the shower head was broken, the curtains smells moldy, the floor had water damage, you can tell it has flooded at some point, and the room gave me really bad allergies. I asked for a different room because I couldn’t sleep all night. They couldn’t change my room and I had to pack up everything thinking it will flood. I don’t think they had ice or water machines on the floors. The late checkout and breakfast that were supposed to be included in was not really properly communicated. I got breakfast 2 of the 3 days I was there even though I’ve followed instructions. Since I had to change rooms the last night I had even more trouble. Housekeeping opened up my room while I was still asleep and asked if I’m late checkout. When I called the front desk they said no, I didn’t have late checkout and that I need to go down immediately. Unable to use the toilet in my own room for 2 nights, I felt like I wanted to just go find another hotel because they didn’t do anything to help.
