Lovely resort with absolutely wonderful and accommodating staff members. Everyone went out of their way to make our experience special. The hotel restaurant, the Rhum House, was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed the market next-door and the Palm Deck rooftop bar. Their sister property bongos botanical beer garden was also a great little stop with excellent food. The only downside was the excessive amount of sargasm seaweed on the beaches, however, that is something that is not in their control.

We enjoyed our stay but the seaweed prevented us from doing what we went there for and that was to swim in the ocean and paddle (kayak and use the paddleboards). Not Grassy Flat's fault, but the seaweed stunk and it made being outside difficult. We enjoyed the free biked and pools. Staff was superb

The staff at the pool bar, deck bar and restaurant were great. The restaurant was really nice, but, alas, not open every night we were there. They also had some other scheduling issues.

They can't control the Sartgum seaweed, but it was really, really bad. It made everything stink outside. The televisions in the room are state of the art 2000. We thought we'd enjoy catching up on Netflix since it smelled so bad outside, but the TV's do not have Netflix nor could we get the Roku stick we purchased to work on the TV. Rooms are clean, but just okay. It may be that the rooms in newer portion are nicer (likely; we stayed in the family portion).

Sargassum covered the beach-horrible smell, can’t use beavh, couldn’t even sit outside due to smell. Also, booked a suite and then told they sold out so separated my family into two rooms.

Very nice stay at Grassy Flats. The hotel is convenient with an on-site restaurant and nearby mini mart for morning coffee and breakfast. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The only downside to our stay was the persistant Sargassum seaweed (totally due to nature and not the hotel's fault) but it rendered the beach unusable and made the air a little stinky.

We had a wonderful time here, and our little dog Zoey really enjoyed herself. Our first trip with our dog and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Beautiful views from our room and the food options and market were excellent. Loved the bread pudding!
