This is a stunning property. The rooms as well as all
of the common areas are meticulously maintained. The pool and lake are beautiful amenities. Our room was spacious and comfortable and having a balcony with a lake view was wonderful. My husband had a massage in the spa that he said was one of the best he’s ever had. Where the resort falls short is in their food service. The restaurant servers were pleasant but seemed either overworked or uninterested most of the time. We waited 10 minutes after being seated for dinner to even have a server greet us. My husband’s drink took an additional 15 minutes because he had to find a martini glass. There was a wedding each night we were there so perhaps that caused some of the issues. The food itself was delicious. The bartenders were excellent at both making cocktails as well as engaging with guests. The front desk staff and concierge were lovely as well. The stars of the resort are the valet guys. So welcoming and fun. Full of great information and willing to help with whatever we needed. We’re hoping this gorgeous new property will work out the kinks. We will definitely return.

Overall great experience. We had no hot water one morning which was very disappointing and the hotel did not offer any compensation,m monetary or otherwise, which surprised me for a hotel at that level.
also, there were several hiccups in the dining room from an incorrect check, kitchen issues including wait times and the inability to accommodate a temp request for a filet.

I booked this trip for a mother/daughter getaway and we had a great time. There is much to do for activities on the grounds. Lakeside and poolside lounging, corn hole, kayaking, paddle boarding, tennis and pickle ball courts, and trails to walk.
The TZ package that we purchased included the stay, complimentary valet, in room snacks, dining credit and two mini bottles of champagne (not a single larger bottle). We had a couple of poolside frozen drinks that were delightful, and we had an amazing lunch consisting of salad greens with salmon, deviled egggs with smoked salmon and caviar, as well as the creamy tomato bisque. One evening we ordered room service for dinner as the dining room had no tables available. The meal again, was delicious! We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back.

The grounds and building were breath taking. The food, when it finally arrived was delicious. Robert, Josh at the Foley Grill have great personalities and save the pool area from disaster. Most of the staff needs to be retrained. they all claim to be a 5-star location but the service is more like 2-3 stars which was extremely disappointing. This resort has so much potential but if you read the reviews, the same negative issues keep happening so management either doesn't care or just not dealing with it properly. The TZ booking package said we'd get soft drinks and snacks. We received water and snacks were not replenished daily. We would also receive complementary valet parking however, there was nobody there to greet up. After wait for a few minutes, my wife and I decided to go inside. Even the tall gentleman at the front desk didn't greet us warmly. We drove 6+ hours to get there and he knew it but yet there was zero conversation. He didn't even show us where the elevator doors were.
After checking out our room, we went to the pool at 3:45 to grab something quick to eat and were told at the Foley Grill that they were sold out of all food but offered us free potato chips. Next thing Robert at the grill comes over to announce, "Last call" Foley's grill is losing out on so much money and their business model is flawed. After last call we went to the bar inside and Alexis the bartender gave my wife attitude becasue she couldn't make up her mind with an extensive special drink menu. When we decided to go back to the room, Jeninne, I beleive her name was gave us our check and it was for $86 for 2 drinks. I noticed "Guest served" said 5 people so I knew it wasn't our. I politely told her this couldn't be our check, she grab the folder and worked at the register. She came back and tossed the check back to me, never apologized, not a word. Dinner was delicous, Jim the wait was excellent, however dinner service too 2+ hours, which meant there had to be issues in the kitchen. Jim kept apologizing and I respected that.
The next day we asked Victoria the concierge about things to do in the area because they were predicting the next 2 days of terrible rain. He first recommendation was to go see Christpher Nolan's, The Odyssey. What??? I can do that at home! Then she suggested driving around the lake in the rain. Sorry terrible ideas. Later that night we went to Fratello's for dinner and Grace the waitress wrote down 12 fun or entertaining things to do in the rain. She was spot on!
After the visit with the concierge, I went in asking for a table for a quick breakfast. The hostess told me there's a 30 minute wait. I looked and there were 8 empty table in the restaurant and the bar area empty and nobody sitting and waiting. I asked about the empty table and she said they're waiting to fill them. I had flashbacks from the night before and just left and went to Dunkin and brought back breakfast.
Again we tried Foley Grill poolside and were told they were out of Pina Colada mix and didn't know when they'd be getting it. Also, they had nobody to cook on the grill, so just sandwiches available. I asked Josh to contact the GM or owner immediately and I would offer the next 3 hours grilling for the resort. He didn't take me seriously, which I was totally. Again, Foley Grill is so mismanaged and losing money by the minute. Listening to couples and families complain poolside is not a pleasant environment.
Our 3rd an final night, we ate at the restaurant and dinner rolls took 50+ minutes to arrive at our table, that came with our hot apps. Oh and they charge you for dinner rolls which Farm Italy is the only other restaurant I know that does this. The rolls are not that great and were luke-warm. Again, issues in the kitchen. Farm Italy rolls are outstanding and huge - they come right out of the oven. I have no problem being charged for that.
Lake Estate charges a boatload of money, their grounds and buldings are 5-star but everything else is 2-3 stars, sorry. Most of these issues have happened before if you carefully read the reviews. They claim growing pains and finding their way but it's now 11-months. Stop with the excuses! They had a summer month last August to see what peak season would be like but yet there's no improvements, which has me more disappointed more than anything.

The hotel was amazing. Beautiful property inside and out. Right on the lake. The rooms were decorated very nicely and had beautiful high ceilings appx. 10 or 11 foot ceilings. The grounds were impeccable the infinity pool overlooking the lake was wonderful. The kids had a great time going out on the kayaks and canoes provided. They even have an intimate lower level theatre that has nightly movies. Truly a great place to stay with very friendly staff. Overall we had a Wonderful stay. Would 100% be back next year.

Beautiful resort and lake. Grounds and pool are well kept. All staff professional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and worth the price. Wait staff in the restaurant all wonderful. Dan who played the piano is there Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Such a gifted musician, singer and wonderful person. Enjoyed getting to know him. We ate at the bar a few times. The Summer Shrubble drink is the best, thanks to one of the staff who created it.

The staff is exceptional, especially Tyler and Pete, the valet. All the staff is truly kind and nice. We met some great people as you see some of the same during your stay. The room was lovely as was the food. They, like any place, are a little short staffed, but the are genuinely nice people. If we had to wait a bit, it didn't matter to us. Everything is there so you never had to leave the resort. Boats, pool, lakeside, cornhole, paddle boards, hiking trails, tennis, spa, pickleball, movie theatre and so much more. The bed was comfortable. I wanted to take the mattress home! The library area was wonderful. Get a lakeside view. It's worth it when you see a bald eagle multiple times! We would most definitely return.

The Lake Estate experience was wonderful! My husband and I met our daughter, son-in-law and grandson there. We all left with very positive memories.
The staff was super professional and friendly. Our rooms and decks were larger than usual with spectacular views of the lake.
We ate 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners on site. The dining spaces are lovely (with lake views) and the food is great. The lounge/bar area is beautiful and extremely comfortable.
The pool area is resort quality and overlooks the lake. The lake/beach area is, also, lovely and user friendly. It was brutally hot during our stay but the breeze off the lake kept us outside. Also, at the pool/lake area staff members regularly appeared with large glasses of iced water...impressive and welcomed!
We have NO criticisms and definitely plan to make the Lake Estate a family gathering spot going forward.

This hotel is beautiful. Recently opened August 2025. They are still working on perfecting the service in the dining room. We made a reservation for 7 PM on one evening of our stay and we’re not seated until 8:15 PM. The restaurant was not that busy. It was a matter of poor staffing. Our second night at the restaurant was handled with more efficiency. The food was excellent from breakfast through dinner. Housekeeping was superb our first evening, but not so good the next two nights, with barrels, not being emptied. The pool area is beautiful landscaping extraordinary and overall I would rate the hotel of 4.5. They need to work on perfecting the level of service provided for the price point charged!

Tips: Book a lakeview room, valet fee is $25 and the walk from the parking lot to the hotel is not strenuous, walk if you’re able. The $45 daily resort fee is also high but unavoidable.

Property was amazing. Spa treatment was top shelf. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic with large deck overlooking the lake. Food was very good. Dined at the bar both nights. View from the bar was amazing.

The hotel is absolutely stunning! And our stay was amazing, the pool is breathtaking and the activities on the lake and the lake staff and pool staff were top notch! The only issue we had was we did book 2 adults one child, when we arrived, the we were in a gorgeous room with a king size bed originally they did not have an air mattress/cot (they said the hotel was sold out) for us and their suggestion was we go to Walmart. They eventually did find one and set it up beautifully after I panicked a little bit. The snacks in the room were wonderful Emory replenished each day. The piano player in the lobby was delightful and very talented! The movie theater was wonderful also.! we look forward to visiting again hopefully soon!

This was our first visit during spring/summer to the hotel. Our room was very nice, the staff is friendly, and we got to sit by the pool and take a walk on the grounds. We plan to go back again this year for their New Year’s Eve event.

The staff is fantastic, especially the valet/bell staff Alec and Steve who stayed late to accommodate us and others coming back from a concert. Our suggestion is to add a few less gourmet items to the menu. We ordered the charcuterie board which came with pickled fiddleheads. I’m from New Hampshire, fiddleheads are an acquired taste at best, pickled they overwhelmed everything on the board. Same kind of experience with my entree the next evening, crispy chicken was great except for the large pieces of shaved ginger that overwhelmed the dish. The chef has a fantastic vision for the menu, a few simpler items would balance out the menu choices. We can’t wait to come back again and enjoy the property, as we had a patch of heavy rain and wind during our short visit.

very nice relaxing experience overall surprise for a luxury resort that the bathrooms has only one sink. in addition the billing process should be more transparent. Could not determine if all our credits were applied to our bill.

The place was fantastic. I would suggest putting screens on the sliding doors in the rooms because we could not enjoy the deck due to all the mosquitos.

This new resort is still shaking out its operations, but was beautiful and friendly. The cost of the meals was a bit high and the variety of food offerings was a bit limited (and a tiny bit pretentious) but good. This is a location for more active people as the amenities are spread out well within a 25 acre location.
