Spent four days in this resort. Beach access, good food options, plentiful self parking and a dedicated adult pool with hottub were the highlights. Great location close to Coligny plaza, numerous restaurants etc. Everything within a 6 minute drive.

We called several times before arrival to make sure we could have our two rooms next to each other. We started calling months before, all the way up to days before to make sure our family could be together. When we arrived they told us we had to be on different floors, or we had to view the HVAC System off our balcony, when we originally booked a wooded view. There was only 1 chair on our balcony and the noise from the HVAC was very loud when you sat outside, not to mention the terrible view of mechanical equipment that spread across several roofs. We were very excited to have a balcony, only to be disappointed by the noise and horrible view. The staff did not care at all that we booked 7 months in advance, and that we were calling several times to make sure we had rooms together. The adult pool was nice, except for the fact that it played elevator music the entire time it was open, and it closed at dusk every night so we never got to cool off in the evening hours after long days in the sun.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday week. The resort was lovely and we enjoyed the pool. We got stung by jellyfish in the ocean mid week.

Every employee was welcoming, delightful and helpful. We ate dinner at the bar every night because the service was exceptional. I asked if they knew which of the football games would be playing on Friday night on the TV. They asked me who I wanted to watch, I told them the broncos. On Friday night the broncos were on the TV and the channel didn't change once through the whole game. The second TV changed channel several times during the night, depending on the guest's requests whether it be for a game, the news channel, the wrestling match. Needless to say, the bartender's tip was bigger than the bar bill.

Really enjoyed the hotel, it was great for families with little ones. The pool was perfect for kids and there was an adults only area if you want to get "away". There were also showers and bathrooms close to the beach, and a lifeguard close by for added safety (NOT at the pool). Rooms are nice with tile floors and small balconies. We overlooked the roof, but didn't care since we were not in the room much. Food and drinks were all good and the service was very friendly!

Property purchased by Sonesta during Covid years and immediately went through a Major $$$$ renovation. Results were VERY Attractive. Added a NEW adult only pool area last year.
Other Comments
Property has very few elevators. If you are not mobile, you should request a room close to elevator (we walked 100 yards). Shuttle to town was a nice touch. But you pay for bikes, chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, etc. They could have at least offered the bikes & chairs with a CC deposit.
