This is a wonderful hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had a fantastic view, and great balcony. The staff was great...friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with hot entrees and some extras. Parking was no problem. We loved our visit (3 days) at Inn at the Cove. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others. We purchased a Travelzoo package and the price was very reasonable for 3 nights at a lovely hotel!

Martin greeted us at the front desk when we arrived to check in.He apologized that our room was not yet ready but offered us 2 glasses of wine & a seat on the porch looking out at the ocean while they prepared our room.Our king bed room with an ocean view was quiet & roomy with a comfy bed.Great ocean view from a spectacular room balcony with comfortable chairs & patio table. Knowing what we know now, we should have requested an upper level hotel room. Even though our hotel room was considered ocean front, we were on the ground floor and right in front of the path where the public walks. We would have preferred staying on the upper floor with more privacy and a better view of the ocean if we knew it was the same price as staying on the ground floor with less privacy and a view obstructed by the bushes.

Wonderful. Just one complaint, the AC unit is positioned right next to the bed. The cold blows right in your face and makes sleeping difficult. We didn't need it much, but this would be a problem in the summer and we wouldn't book a room at the hotel then.

We have stayed here several times with our 2 small dogs and we all love it. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. And rooms do not have carpet which is essential for a dog friendly room-no bad smells from other dogs.

The Inn at the Cove was absolutely amazing — the pictures truly did not do it justice. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with the perfect touch of beachy, small-town charm.
The views from our balcony were breathtaking. We sat outside for hours just talking and taking it all in. There are several cozy spots throughout the property where you can nestle up comfortably and simply be one with nature.
Dinner was just a short block away, and the food was delicious — the perfect addition to a special evening. We were celebrating our bestie’s birthday, and this beautiful getaway made it even more memorable.
We will definitely be back.

Our Oceanfront King room was spacious and clean. The view was spectacular and our patio made a great place to watch the winter sunset. The clifftop path and viewpoints along the back of the property were inviting, and there were comfortable loungers and chairs scattered across the grounds. We saw a sea otter pup and its mom from the gazebo viewpoint! The hotel is walking distance to Dinosaur Caves Park and a short car ride to town. There are free bikes to rent. Breakfast includes a variety of both cold and hot items. I would happily return and explore more of Pismo Beach.

The Inn at the Cove was a wonderful relaxing experience in a beautiful place while not very private, the balcony overlooking the ocean is wonderful. While our stay was quiet and peaceful, I did notice that the rooms carry sound when a family with children moved in next to us on the last day. This did not detract from our enjoyment but is something to consider. Appreciate the continental breakfast included in the price as well.

It’s a lovely property. We normally stay closer to town because we like to be able to walk to all the restaurants. It’s a 1 1/2 mi. walk to town which isn’t that far but even though there are sidewalks they are not well lit, it’s very dark.

Gorgeous views! The stay exceeded expectations in nearly every way. We arrived on a Thursday which turned out to be fortuitous as there was a once weekly wine tasting with music. The included buffet breakfast was excellent with many options. The Saturday morning yoga on the lawn was an added bonus. The oceanfront room was spacious, beautifully updated and very comfortable. Loved all the different outdoor seating areas- giant swinging lounge chairs and the pool/spa area. It’s about a 5-7 min drive into town for dining, shopping and the beach. There is 1 restaurant about a 10 min walk away. I would definitely return!
