It was perfect! Everyone was sooo friendly! Room was large and amazingly comfortable beds! Giant bathroom. Nice fridge and coffee set up in room!

My husband and I really looked forward to visiting the Read House and we were not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful, with huge crystal chandeliers, carved wooden columns and beautiful flowers welcoming guests upon arrival. The 1920s ambiance is found throughout the hotel, right down to the bartender and flapper girl server in the bar! The location was an easy 5-10 minute drive to tons of restaurants and sights, like the aquarium, which we very much enjoyed. I definitely would return should we visit Chattanooga again (and frankly, we're thinking about it!).

This hotel is historic 1870s. It's absolutely gorgeous. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are spacious. The bed is incredibly comfortable. They have a Starbucks on site and an upscale restaurant. We had a very enjoyable stay.
