Upgraded suite was great.

Assigned rooms were dark with no view. Had to pay to upgrade to a nice suite- a process that took 3 hours.

Third time back to Cap Tremblant. We love lounging at the pool with the kids during the day and heading up to the village in the evening. Unfortunately the kids pool was closed three of the four days of our stay for ‘maintenance’, although we drove by a few times and no work was being done. Third year we go and third year I find the reception staff not very welcoming, although they seem very nice with the francophone guests. The condo was ok, furniture is getting quite dated and one of our couches was torn. Bed was not very comfortable, woke up with a sore back every morning. Love the location though, the deer came to visit our backyard a few times. The convenience of having a full kitchen is invaluable with kids.

Hotel should consider putting better blackout curtains/blinds as the bedroom and living room were very bright and made it hard to sleep. Other option would be to allow guests to turn off some of the outdoor lights at night. Other negative was that our TV didn't have all the listed channels. Because we don't have cable at home, this is usually a perk for us when we stay in a hotel!

The road was very scary. We had to get a tow truck to pull us out. What do people do when there is freezing rain?
