Went for a one night girls trip. Very convenient to Atlanta for such a short trip. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and having dinner on site.

Went for a mom's getaway for one night and we had the best time at the pool. The pool bar has an excellent pina colada, and the staff was super friendly. We ate lunch/dinner off site, so I can't comment on the restaurants there.

Great stay, beautiful property. Had a great room overlooking the pool. I will say it's strange they only provided 2 towels in our bathroom, but they were quick to send us more when we requested. Would definitely go back!

The deal was great and so was the service. The rooms are large but plain. You cannot get into the closet. Our phone and coffee maker were broken. The air conditioning didn’t work well. I would not have stayed here without this wonderful Travelzoo deal.

I have made a trip to Chateau Elan an annual event. It’s a tranquil paradise. The service from check in to the Pool bar is impeccable. The rooms are immaculate. If you are looking for a great Solo or couples escape (I don’t recommend this for children), make Chateau Elan a destination.

We had such a wonderful vacay at Chateau Elan! Gorgeous resort with so many options! We did not leave the property for the four days we were there. Eat at all their many restaurants with Marc’s being our favorite. The wine tour was fantastic. The vineyards are as lovely as Napa! We played Pickleball each morning at the beautiful tennis center. All around best time!!

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was amazing. The recreation was really great. The dining was so so. Versailles was boring with their selection. Marc's was excellent. The Spa restaurant was great. The Bourbon place had a great selection, but the flatbread tasted like it was under a hat lamp for a few hours. The staff was very helpful. However, had we not had the Travel Zoo special, I doubt we would go back.

Beautiful property, attentive staff and delicious food and drink offerings! My only negative comment is re: the proximity to highway noise while outdoors in some areas, enjoying the beautiful surroundings - but easy to overlook when immersed in nature of the 3,500 acres.

I feel that the $40 valet parking is pretty steep on top of the premium room rates. An the hotel's website says self-parking is free. So I don't understand why TravelZoo charge $10/per day for parking.

No information was given or acknowledged at check-in regarding the Travelzoo voucher credits (complimentary drinks, resort credit, parking discount, etc ), and thus none of it was applied at checkout until we pointed it out. The person who checked us out was very apologetic and made the appropriate adjustments, but the individual at check in should have been aware of this. This was the first time a property has made it difficult to appropriately honor a Travelzoo voucher, and we have used several.

We took in the tour and tasting and were decidedly underwhelmed. The cost far outweighed the value we got out of it. Had we been able to choose only dry or only sweet wines that would have been much preferred. Our guide would benefit from better scripting as most of her talk was about growing up in the area and her personal experiences with the winery and it's people.

Beautiful grounds. We ate at multiple restaurants on the property and at the golf course, they were all very good. Spa treatment was excellent! Wine tasting was fun, but we were surprised at how large the wine tasting facility was. We arrived on Sunday and there were lots of people wine tasting and in the spa. Monday-Wednesday was a lot less people/crowded.

I did not like that the guy that checked me in was not welcomin; the hotel lost power and I was charged for two nights that I was not there for.

The clerk at the front desk was not welcoming. He was quick to tell me everything I would be charged for however he didn’t bother to give me the complimentary tickets for the poolside drinks that were included in the travel zoo offer. I explained to him and 2 other hotel clerks I had to cut the trip short and wanted to make sure I didn’t get charged and in the end I was still overcharged. This experience was not good for me this time. I also contacted Travelzoo about having to cut the trip short and Amanda at Travelzoo and she was not able to help me either.

Chateau was impressive looking but hotel rooms were no better than a Holiday Inn. The bath towels were rough feeling and some were frayed. The straight back, upholstered chair was not what I would expect from a resort that billed itself as upscale. Two of the main restaurants were closed during our stay. The spa area and cafe were nice as was the pool area. The winery wines were average and way overpriced.
Appearance wise the resort looked luxurious but certainly fell far short of our expectations.

Every single person employed at Chateau Elan was smiling and very very helpful. We went for one night only and ate casual at Paddy’s. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious. The food and drinks at each venue were a bit pricey for what it was. We had drinks at Louis- Anna was wonderful in helping us discover a new drink- thanks Anna ! Christina at Marc’s bar was a hoot and we had a great great time at the end of the evening talking and laughing with her.
We will probably return to eat lunch or dinner at Marc’s.
