"We had a wonderful two-day stay at Newagen Seaside Inn. From the lady who did our booking, Abby, to the front desk gal named Debi, everyone was just so friendly and welcoming, we felt like we were coming home! The place was lovely, the location spectacular, and our room was spacious and clean. We had originally booked three nights, and ended up regretting that we had cancelled the final night, as we wanted to head into New Hampshire to see the fall colors. But I could have stayed at Newagen Seaside Inn forever! It was heaven... almost too good to be true."
Travelzoo Tip: Stay on Tuesday nights to participate in the weekly lobster bake.
Overview
If you're looking for a quintessential New England escape, it doesn't get much better than this: The Inn itself is located in Southport, a region known for its quiet coves, rocky shorelines and island lighthouses. It's also only a short drive to Booth Bay Harbor, where you'll find boutique shopping, restaurants and water sports like sailing and sea kayaking — whale-watching, anyone?
In keeping with the coastal Northeastern settings, rooms here feel beachy thanks to their vibrant color palette and accents like seahorse throw pillows and starfish on the walls — most also offer views of Cape Newagen and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Wi-Fi also comes standard, although there are no TVs (it's meant to be a tranquil escape, after all). For more space and your very own private balcony, we recommend upgrading to a Little Inn Room.
The inn’s on-site activities include a saltwater pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a vintage game room with billiards, and candle-pin bowling, bicycles, lawn games and playground. All guests receive breakfast each morning; the on-site restaurant, the Pub, also serves classic seafood dishes like lobster, scallops and local oysters paired with seasonal farm-stand produce. There is a full bar, too, with a wide patio deck for warmer evenings and an outdoor fireplace for nights with a bit of a chill.

We had a camera lens filter shipped from Amazon, with the promise that it would be there well before we arrived. It was way late. The inn took the trouble to return it to Amazon and got us a refund. Now, THAT'S service. Oh, and the restaurant is great, too--friendly wait staff, great views out towards the bay, and delicious food. Glad we didn't miss that.

Room was nice, very clean. However, no TV or Wi-Fi. Terrific views. Easy parking.

Had a "blind" fall off the door to the balcony. Reported it on checkin=day, was not fixed until we reported it yet again on day 2.

Beautiful location and really off the beaten path. Very COVID conscious and clean. Great food and everyone was super nice and accommodating.

Just because of the remoteness of your Inn, may want to consider an electric charger for those guests with electric vehicles.

My only complaint is the breakfast. I understand the need for a box breakfast. However this was a box full of prepackaged sugar. I know they could do better.
There is a local bakery. Bread and peanut butter instead of a plastic wrapped “coffee cake”.

We stayed at the Little Inn and had a room with a great balcony and view.

The only issue is that in the main building, which you have to enter to check in/out and go to the restaurant, they were not enforcing mask wearing although that is stated as their policy.
