Just one block from Fremont Street and two minutes from the Mob Museum, Downtown Grand Las Vegas is a sleek modern property on the grounds of the former Lady Luck casino. From its location in the heart of “Old” Las Vegas, hotel guests are less than a 10-minute drive from the Strip.

Rooms are small compared to newer properties on the Strip but feature bold designs with a green or red base for the décor. Newly renovated guest rooms and suites include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions and pillowtop mattresses on one king or two queen beds. Upgraded rooms have separate seating areas and expansive views of the city or mountains while suites stretch up to 680 square feet with two full bathrooms and living rooms to entertain guests away from the private bedrooms.

The rooftop, called Picnic, is home to Downtown’s largest pool deck (35,000 square feet) with a glittering infinity pool, fire pits, daybeds and green space for outdoor games like foosball, corn hole and table tennis.  Expect it to be quite a scene at times; the Picnic is open to the public as well as to hotel guests. There is a full bar, and Citrus serves frozen treats and grilled favorites made with fresh ingredients grown poolside. Those in town hoping to hit the jackpot can choose from slot machines, table and video games in the casino.

When gamblers tear themselves away from the casino floor for much-needed nourishment, the hotel provides diverse options including an upscale steakhouse, gourmet pizza, an American burger bar and Latin-inspired cuisine with a specialty espresso menu.

We found a great restaurant in down town away from the Main Street.

Until 3am loud music. You had to sleep with ear blocks. Checking in was very pleasant but checkout not so. This hotel is for the youngsters.

Pool was closed Friday 12/7, that was a bummer. Pool was open 12/8 and the weather was great. No hot tub.

Please make your windows soundproof and put 4 pillows in your rooms. Other than that everything else is excellent.

the front desk was amazing when we mentioned the guy calling us. they moved us to another room in the other tower (which was much closer to what's represented on the booking page). but beware that you're getting a specific kind of vibe in this place.
Other Comments
lack of seats by the pool, slow service at the pool. first room was on a 'motel' level, and someone called at 1pm to tell us to be quiet.

The hotel was very noisy. I arrived and it was easy to find, and the staff was very nice. I asked to be places in a quiet room since I had been working and was tired. When I arrived to my room there where ear plugs (not a good sign). The room had a constant noise going on for several hours through out the evening. I continuously woke during the night because of this. To me this hotel was marketed as where to stay during a trade show and was in a shuttle route. I was in Vegas to work, this hotel seemed to be catering to another crowd which was not why I was there.
