Nice hotel. Had some issues with AC. It didn't work in our room and then, after they were unable to repair it, we asked to move rooms. When doing that, we saw a list of rooms on the checkin desk with rooms with known AC problems. They courtesously moved us, but we NEVER should have been assigned that room. The other couple in our party also had a room without working AC.

The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Asked to have our room changed and the response was immediately "of course." Not "no" or "why" like I've usually gotten at other hotels. Brian and his staff at Jasper's were also excellent. Although the menu was limited the food was very good. I will definitely come back because of the welcoming attitude everyone showed.

Location was great unless you went 1 block in the wrong direction into the Tenderloin district which would scare many people. Homeless situation is disturbing for some.

While the room was a bit smaller than expected, the housekeeping was great and timely. The hot breakfast was good and wait staff was very polite. We had a problem with the TV remote, but service replaced it very quickly. The coffee, tea and water service in the lobby was a nice feature, as was sitting in the lobby.
