Weather was nice and we were able to spend quality time in the heated pool & spa. The view of the ocean is very relaxing and listening to the waves at night is a treat. The grounds are beautiful and we especially enjoy all the fire pits located throughout. Breakfast area offers a variety of food items and coffee Is available all day. Hotel staffing is the best, professional and very helpful. All the rooms have everything that you might need, including comfortable beds.

Upon checkin we were informed there was only a room on the first floor. We were staying two nights so we agreed to the location. The foot traffic in front of our room was constant from 7 AM to 7 PM which is why I requested a higher floor. We would never stay in this room again.

All was good despite construction and pool closure due to renovations. I was communicated of this after booking though which I did not appreciate but I still chose to visit at that time. I would suggest asking for a room away from the side of the hotel or area as they start work early on the weekdays and you can definitely see and hear it. Top notch cliff ocean view location. Nice staircase down the cliff to the beach if you want to experience that. My room was roomy and very nicely done. Super clean and updated. I could hear lots of pattering of noise in the hallways and rooms around me. You can hear building enter/exit doors closing at all hours. Not the greatest sound proofing. Has a continental breakfast that comes included which is a bonus. Property has a lot of pluses and if you can get a travel zoo view deal in the winter or off season the property will not be over crowded and is an excellent value.

We went to SeaCrest for our anniversary last year and had an amazing time. Not one thing to complain about! So we rebooked for our anniversary this year. We were really disappointed! The Wifi was awful! We couldn't get any of our devices on to the wifi without being kicked off moments later. I received a text message after check-in saying you could text this number with any questions or problems, so I did. I asked about the wifi with no response. The TV would get frozen, the remote would stop working, it was frustrating! And I didn't remember the beds being so hard. Woke up sore & achey in the mornings.
All that said, the view is top notch! We love this hotel and had a fabulous time. I definitely recommend staying here. Great location. They are redoing the pool area so that was closed, but the seating areas & firepits are amazing. You can go out & sit and listen to the waves crashing. The stairs to go down to the beach are right in front of the hotel, we loved walking down to the pier & downtown area. Splash Cafe has THE BEST Clam Chowder!

The hotel was in a great location. I loved the easy access to the beach. I was able to walk to the pier area to have lunch. I wished I had more time to enjoy many seating areas with the ocean views or the fire places at the hotel.

We got there at 4:15 and our room wasn't ready. There were a lot of angry people waiting. They said they would text me when my room wasxready, but somehow I didn't get a text. no explanations or offer of a drink or anything. it was a bad way to start. Our room was also very cold which wasn't very inviting, but we turned the heater on and it warmed up quickly. There is no store to spend the $15, but they had a few snacks on a counter.

The Staff were nice. Once we arrived, the pool was out of order. Our room wasn’t ready, so they tried to “upswell” another room for $20. We declined and used their restroom to change to go to a local Play. After the first person changed, our room became available. We had to step over a trip- hazard, a hose crossed our pathway leaving a slick path. The water pressure was so low. We called to report that and was told there was a city ordinance that required the pressure to be low. We later checked with other guest who reportedly had good water pressure. The standard room ( Travelzoo rooms) seemed to get the lousy views……just saying.

This is a very nice property with nicely decorated and clean rooms. The room had a balcony with a breath taking view of the ocean. It also came with a microwave and small refrigerator. The morning breakfast was a nice assortment of eggs, pancakes, sausage, toast, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit. The grounds of the property was laid out so that you could sit and enjoy the ocean view and there was easy access to the beach where you could walk for miles. Its location is next to the freeway and close to the downtown pier and many restaurants.

The SeaCrest was beautifully decorated and so clean. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to renovation but the hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking. My only critique was that the hotel WiFi didn’t work well. I never was able to connect with the system even after multiple attempts. It wasn’t the end of the world tho. It gave me more time to enjoy my company and the beautiful surroundings of Pismo Beach.

We have been to this hotel several times with friends. Our previous experiences were better. Service wasn't as good and the rooms were not as nice as before. Rooms and furniture were worn and the balcony was dirty. The pool was closed for renovations and we weren't told. Will probably seek a different hotel for our next visit.

Check in was seamless. We had booked this with an other couple getting the same kind of room and they were very accommodating getting us the two rooms next to each other. The hotel location is fabulous and the ocean view rooms were very nice. The entire property is very clean. The breakfast was very good, waffles, pancakes, scrambled cheese eggs (powered) , cereal, bagels, English muffins, sausage links, flavored coffee and creamers, bananas, apples, oranges, juices and sweet muffins. They have at least 10 outside firepits that they will light whenever requested if not already burning. They do lite them early morning around 6 and every evening automatically. The entire property is very attractive and well kept. Our entire stay was super.

We went for a birthday get away. This is a beautiful property and the staff was friendly. This property was close to town and had restaurants close by. We plan on going again next year!

In this instance, the higher priced room option (with ocean or coast view) was not available at check-in, and we were given a ground level room facing the swimming pool and game lawn. I will be sending a separate letter to their management and Travelzoo to ask for refund of the difference in room rate (between $219 and $189).

Would like to Not have powdered scrambled eggs at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast offering was great.
Also, vanity water pressure does not allow me to rinse out my toothbrush very well. Please add sprayer caps that “spray” the water. This will give more pressure with the measly 1/2gal flow that are limited to.

Went on a family road trip, and this was one of our favorite places to stay. Not having to worry about breakfast in the morning for everyone and having an adult's. Only hot tub really made this place a relaxing stop.
