Enjoyed Most
Really enjoyed the hotel, it was great for families with little ones. The pool was perfect for kids and there was an adults only area if you want to get "away". There were also showers and bathrooms close to the beach, and a lifeguard close by for added safety (NOT at the pool). Rooms are nice with tile floors and small balconies. We overlooked the roof, but didn't care since we were not in the room much. Food and drinks were all good and the service was very friendly!

Property purchased by Sonesta during Covid years and immediately went through a Major $$$$ renovation. Results were VERY Attractive. Added a NEW adult only pool area last year.
Other Comments
Property has very few elevators. If you are not mobile, you should request a room close to elevator (we walked 100 yards). Shuttle to town was a nice touch. But you pay for bikes, chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, etc. They could have at least offered the bikes & chairs with a CC deposit.

The positive: good for families who want a comfortable room and expect to drive to restaurants outside of complex. The cleaning, check in and morning restaurant staff were perfect in every way. Beach is so close to pools.. Bathrooms by beach were clean and plenty of rinse areas both at pool and beach. The negatives:unfortunately are long for the normal price per room rate and experience i have had with many other resorts. The pools were small, jacuzzi and some fire pits didn't work. Weak shower pressure,, pool staff was spotty to non existent for taking drink or food orders, no beach staff. Really did not like that beach chairs and umbrellas were not set up nor included with stay. The beach equipment rented was not well inspected and had to go back 2x because beach chairs provided were found to be broken! Golf facility restaurant food was ok bit zero toilet paper in restroom! Asked waitress Nd told none was available anywhere which leads to assume bad maintenance and oversight. Lastly, shuttle service has very limited hours and frequency.
Other Comments
As a business and adult only leisure traveler, I would not go back nor recommend hotel until they provide nice beach chairs and umbrellas already set up at beach and better food options. The price to what is offered is simply not to par compared to other resorts.

Rooms really need to be updated. The room wasn’t very clean. Also, can’t see the beach from the resort pools- not really oceanfront when you can’t even see it
