Had to talk with a manager to get the resort fees taken off my bill since it was one of the Travelzoo perks. They kept telling me that the offer was not a part of the deal and I had to show them my booking information with the offer in it. Was also only given 2 drink vouchers instead of 4. Also came back to our room with the floor with big spots of water. Called the front desk, and they sent someone up and they accused us of leaving the sliding door open in the rain, which was not true. And the puddle locations didn’t even make sense for that analysis. But all in all, we had a good time. It was a good location on the beach. I would not pay the full price for the resort with the staff interaction I had and the willingness to brush me off. But for the price I paid with the Travelzoo offer, if it was offered again, I would buy it.

Parking is severely overpriced. $58/day is too high when you can find all day beach parking for $25 and $30 on the same block. Otherwise a fine stay.

Again, one of the bar service employees was very good and I gave her a $10 tip to reward her for being the nicest at the bar. But the 2 people working in the small store before the entrance to the pool were rude.

Mostly the employee at the pool towel area seemed annoyed and unhappy to be in her job. Sad that one employee can make this impression on the whole place…but it did.

I stayed here 15 years ago, and compared with that time, the hotel def shows some wear and tear.but still one of my favorite in Fort Lauderdale beach!!!
