Invite you to go to Last Hurrah (wait listed since they had just one bartender!) and coupon for one free beverage did not include alcohol! Booked through the Travelzoo ad this spring. The dates we wanted were available and easy to get. Arrival was great doorman kept our keys to the car while we checked in, this was a little after 4 PM but was handled quickly. We used the parking garage behind the hotel not the valet service. We're pretty sure that is the place the hotel uses, Room were comfortable, the pillows were AWESOME. Staff was friendly and have a sense of humor. They laughed at my "dad-like" jokes. Elegant public areas, Very safe. Near the historic and commercial sites of Boston.

The rooms were quaint - typical small city hotel room. The experience at breakfast in the hotel restaurant was awful. It wasn't very crowded but we probably wasted half our morning waiting for food which was exceptionally expensive for breakfast. Lesson learned.

The hotel is lovely, the room was updated and comfortable and very clean; no view, but that meant it was quiet, which was fine with me! The location is very convenient to the theaters and historical attractions. The only disappointment was I asked to checkout at noon (the Travelzoo deal said as late as 2 PM subject to availability), but they said they were too full to accommodate my request. Not a major issue, though, and I would return.

The rooms are nice but small. We liked our room and had a great view out onto the street. We enjoyed relaxing in the lobby and the central location. I would warn other visitors about the thin walls between the rooms and the potential for sleep disturbances.

The walls between the rooms are very thin. The people in the adjacent room were very loud and disturbed our sleep both nights. One night they woke us at 2 am arguing very loudly. The front desk sent security but that only resolved it for about 5-10 min. The second night was a similar situation. The lack of sleep really was a detriment and left us with no desire to spend additional time on activities in the hotel. It would have been nice if the hotel had offered to move us the second night. We came home exhausted from lack of sleep.

The staff was amazing! When I inquired about where JFK proposed to Jackie, they offered to sit us there! What a great experience! And the food was delicious and a fare value for sure. We also lost a pair of glasses, the staff went back twice to find them after we left and found them way under the bed. The room itself was very small, but suitable. But the beauty, location and amazing customer service are what made the trip!

Just before Christmas, our family of four took a special two-night trip to Boston and stayed at the historic Omni Parker House. While I grew up nearby, it’s always such a joy to return and experience the city again—especially during the holidays.
One of our favorite traditions continued as my daughter and I attended The Nutcracker, something we’ve done together for 15 years now. Meanwhile, my son and husband spent the day walking around Boston, sightseeing and taking in the city. We all loved the Omni Parker House—the cozy lobby, hitting the lounge for some apps and beverages, and the incredible sense of history made it feel like more than just a hotel, but part of the Boston experience itself. The Hotel Staff are so attentive and helpful, ready to answer any questions and assist you during your visit. (walk around and see all the history the hotel has experienced)
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the North End, which was absolutely terrific, and appreciated how easy it was to walk everywhere. It was a perfect, memorable two-night visit filled with tradition, history, and quality family time.

The Parker House is a wonder hotel with a great location. It is close to everything including subway stations. That makes getting around Boston very easy. The last time we were there, also using Travelzoo, the rooms were in need of updates. Now the rooms are lovely. One of our group had an issue with their room but they were quickly moved to another room without any argument. The staff were friendly and attentive. We arrived several hours before standard check-in but we able to check in early since our rooms were ready. And a wonderful sweet surprise, there was a dessert buffet Friday night with hot chocolate mini pastries, including mini Boston Cream Pie. This might just have been for the holidays but we really enjoyed it. The Travelzoo deal really made this an excellent way to experience this historic hotel.

Parking at the hotel is very expensive. I would recommend using a parking app that finds less expensive parking. Better yet, park at the Alewife T-station and take the subway in to the Park Ave. station which is two blocks from the hotel.

We checked in around 9:30 pm and were greeted with the most efficient and gracious man at the desk. He took some ice packs for me to the freezer and when I asked if we might have our check out at 12, he explained what i could do the next day to facilitate it. The hotel, room, vibe was so lovely - traditional yet not stuffy at all. The gym was a very welcome addition.

The only negative part was they gave us a 25.00 voucher for the restaurant lounge and when we checked out we couldn’t use it because it wasn’t for drinks and no one at the front desk said that. I was with 2 other couple and we checked in with different people at the front desk and not one of them shared the information that it was for food only.
