The Beach House Resort was perfect! Excellent for solo travel, girl's trip and family vacation! The resort was right on the beach and only 15 - 20 mins away from HHH airport. The entire staff from hotel front desk, bell guy, parking lot attendant, house keeping and behind the seen was accomdating, friendly and helpful! The hotel and all areas CLEAN!!!! My room was very spacious with decorated in coastal and natuical vibe. The partial ocean view room overlooked the front parking lot and top of hotel with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the ocean every morning! What a spectular view! The food at Porch was very good! Freshly made! The pool was clean and there was plenty of space. The beach was awesome with available umbrellas and chair at a decent price. Be sure to rent on the beach and not at the stand where public access to beach. They price was much higher. We met so many wonderful people! Had a AWESOME time at firepit with other guests! What fun exchange stories and the laughs not stopped. There is also a free trolley shuttle available to take you anywhere within 2 miles. This resort was excellent with a beach vibe. Loved it!

Very outdated and we’re charged twice for the stay. Once on travelzoo and once more upon checkin. The staff did not tell us they were going to charge us for for the room upon checkin or checkout. They only told about the $50 hold for any damage. AND they charged a completely different card than I provided upon arrival.

Billung & holds on credit cards was pretty high amounts & upon checkout they still charged full amount & said credit would come for the large held amounts. Not a good process for the customer - ties up your credit card for double the amount.

We were not disappointed. Travel zoo has never let us down and we have been members for years. I read reviews that were very accurate. The location can not be beat. It’s an older hotel with signs of wear but on the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and bars.

Construction was a bummer. Jack hammering sounds all day but other than that, overall very pleasant. Small older hotel but they've worked hard to update. Bed seemed old. Very soft, and you almost slid off when sitting on side. Staff great and despite the issues, I would return if price was right!

Hotel check-in was easy. We arrived early and were ready to check in, but then was told it would be an additional $50. So we went to the bar and spent the $50. There were no easy chairs in the room. There was a table with one metal chair from around the pool. I asked for at least one more chair to be brought up since there were three people in the room. We did receive one. The refrigerator did not work and we had someone come up to look at it. He said it was fixed (something about the fan) but it never did work. It was the first time in Hilton Head Island and in case you don't know, the airport is in Savannah (around 40 miles away) and cabs could cost $150. The Tiki Hut was fun and had good food, so did the Porch (restaurant near the pool.)

Great stay at Beach House. Loved the location on the beach. Room was nice and very quiet. Pool area and adjacent Tiki Hut restaurant/bar/music venue was a plus and not too loud. We did have some issue with water pipes in the walls loudly clanking for about a minute or two after flushing or showering. But it never lasted. Staff was nice. Parking easy. Very close to restaurants and shops.

Great location, but needs a lot of work. Room maintainance is definitely lacking. Just one set of window curtains, 2nd ones missing. A/c unit had filthy vents and filters. Desk chair with rust marks. Paving going on outside. Landscaping seems to be on hold. Parking is a big problem.

The hotel is located right on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good, and the Tiki bar was fun, with live music. It was nice to relax by the pool and still be able to see the ocean and sand dunes. The hotel is also within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is right next to public beach access, so it was quite busy on the weekend, but overall it was excellent value for money and I would stay there again.

BEWARE: Add on fees are exorbitant. They charge a "social impact" fee and a "marketing" fee. They even add sales tax to their "resort fee". What really iced the cake is that they have a pretty shady practice of adding a $50 per night "incidentals" fee. They tell you that it's removed at the time of checkout BUT they didn't. I left the hotel with a printed invoice for $392 but, 12 hours later, they posted a charge of $465 to my credit card. Now I have to submit a dispute with my credit card company; what a hassle!

Older facility but well maintained. Excellent location, could walk to many places. Lovely playground very close (walk) that kids would really love! Just steps from ocean and very nice pool but too cold for us in February. No live music and we were there FRi and Sat nights so that may not happen (we were told it would). I don't think the extra $25/night is fair in off seasons... too cold for pool, no music, beach towels not needed since it was too cold...and that is just too much extra money for WIFI only!!!!

The hotel is in a prime location with so many food options and shopping right there in wali g distance! The beach is right there as well so you could never have to get in your car if you didn’t want to! That is probably the best thing about this place, is it’s location.

We went for just an overnight getaway and enjoyed the shower and room. I will say bring flippers or house shoes because there is no carpet which I totally understand because you are literally by the beach. My first hotel right on the beach…We loved it. They have live bands at night which you really don’t hear in your rooms. Great hotel and the staff were amazing. They called to make sure your stay was going well and was available when needed.

We went to the room we’re trying to stay in for the night have a glass of wine but I forgot my wine opener.
I went to the front desk they said no problem just go with the outside bar they have plenty of wine openers that will give you one it went from downhill from the manager refused to give me A wine opener so we had a couple of happy hour drinks and the waitress suggested that we can just take a bottle downstairs and she would open for us . So I went upstairs got our bottle of wine she opened it and then we decided to stay downstairs and order from the menu I went to a table outside to sit down and the manager told me to get up he had already promised to a different person I said OK we went inside spent A good amount of money
I asked for the check the waitress percent of the check and they added a $20 corking fee without telling us the waitress told me that the manager told her to put the corking fee on the check because we didn’t talk to him about the bottle of wine he was extremely rude and I did not want to come back to the restaurant the next night I believe his name was Rudy.

Got a great deal $99 a night. Hotel was right on the beach and in walking distance to great places to eat, breakfast lunch and dinner. We had some issues with room maintenance but we informed hotel staff and they quickly assisted.
