Easy check-in. Great front staff. Clean room. However, Minimal closet with no rack or hangers. Only one draw for clothes. Wall a little thin - easy to hear conversations in next room. No elevator for 2d floor. Breakfast was good and plenty of room to dine

We spent three nights. We were impressed with the very friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was good. The usual Hampton in breakfast, waffles are always available as well as some sort of hot egg, meat and potato. And the usual cereal and toast selections they were kept well stocked. The pool is heated, but I would not say warm, but you can get used it once you’re in. There are fire pits in the pool area, although we did not use them. The only thing missing is a view of the ocean, but it’s barely 5 minutes away. We would definitely go back.

The only negative issue I have was that there was no elevator and trying to haul luggage up and down the stairs was a little difficult. The only other issue was that the walls are very thin, and you can hear the people on either side of you which was very annoying.The staff was very polite and courteous, The morning breakfast was good.

When we checked in their computers were down so we had to wait. We decided to leave and come back. The staff gave us an extra bottle of wine to compensate us, which we appreciated.

The property was advertised as a new hotel. It is a very old hotel which they have redone. The flooring seemed to be without under padding. It seems like they are still making improvements.

Breakfast selections were great and filling. Good variety of food options from the snack shop. Pool was heated. No towels were at the pool. Good thing we brought one from home.

Our room was clean and comfortable, however there was a musty smell/ foul odor that would not completely go away. Our bed linens had the same odor. Not sure if it's the laundry detergent or the room cleaning products. Also, the walls are thin. could hear my neighbor next door snoring all night and conversations in the next room or hallway.

This property is still going through a "shakedown" cruise. When we checked in for 3 nights, they only booked us for 2, so on the third day, our room key would not work. Front desk staff seemed very inexperienced at resolving issues, actually clueless. One front desk manager, Jean, finally resolved the issue. Although the breakfast and cleanliness of the property were very good to excellent, it seems the front desk staff need additional training on the computer system for checking guests into the property.
Other Comments
Be aware that this property sits on a variety of levels without an elevator. Unless you are booked onto the first floor, expect climbing steps. The pool was clean, but not sparkling for a recently renovated property and we found few guests using it. Would we come back? Yes. Would we recommend the property? Yes, with a few caveats about the front desk staff ambivalence about resolution of issues. Give this property a few months to resolve their internal issues.
