We had the absolute best time! My husband and I took one of our kids on a special birthday trip, and they surprised him with a bag of treats, and then also sent a bottle of wine up to our room. Beds were super comfortable, and it was such a prime location!

Yes, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and the coffee from the lobby cafe was very good. The air conditioning was great.

I know that the Hotel had recently been renovated .The furnishings were very design forward blonde wood and modern lighting, so it looked good in the lobby and in the room. The paint job in the bathroom was messy around the baseboards and the rain shower head was very low. The bathroom still had someone else's hair on the sink, in the sink. A part of the new flooring was sticking up, like it had been caught on something.

My grandson and I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. It’s so close to Grand Central and the NYPL. Service was wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable. Loved the deal I got through Travelzoo!

The hotel had great atmosphere, as it was recently renovated to a nice clean modern style. I was traveling with my son and his wife for a weekend in NYC. Our only issue was that we had booked a two queen room but at check-in we discovered they gave us a single queen room. The front desk informed us that all of their Travelzoo reservations which were booked as double queen rooms were coming through as single queen rooms. Luckily, they were not fully booked, so they gave us a second room at no charge. We were very pleased with this accommodation, but if the hotel had been full, we would have had to relocate to a new hotel.

The blinds were stuck open in my room. Also I kept pressing the arrow on the thermostat to warn up my room but nothing happened. I had to call someone to come and tell me to just shut it off. He also confirmed that the blinds were stuck.
Other than that, it was a very nice experience with great staff members.
