Great stay in a very nice resort. Pool was great. They had many other things to do such as a walking trail, cornhole, bikes/boats to rent. Overall an extremely nice stay in Mission Bay

Love the hotel, atmosphere, ambience and staff and enjoyed the central location as well as many of the facilities.
Our room was lovely, and had 2 queen beds, as requested.
HOWEVER, My bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. They gladly put a mattress topper to alleviate the problem, but it did not help. I had very poor sleeps and therefore missed the opportunity for a real rested vacation.
Your rate was excellent, but we seem to have some confusion about the final bill - this is being resolved.

Mid-week getaway to a very nice resort with lots of optional activities. Staff was excellent! Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The deal through Travelzoo made it very reasonably priced. Setting is lovely on Mission Bay, away from crowds and traffic craziness. Would love to return!

The staff was wonderful - friendly, efficient, kind - everything you could ask for. Daily housekeeping was a wonderful surprise and not something that is typically offered anymore. We had a wonderful stay.

Bed was firm. Dinner in restaurant was good as well as the view. Setting on bay is nice. Rooms are large.

We arrived and the floor had water on it, toilet paper wet. I think they just did not finish cleaning. We also arrived 2 hours prior to arrival time. They gave us access to grounds and said they would contact us when room was ready. They never contacted us until 1 hour after check in time. The room we thought were getting was nothing like the picture. We were in a building that you had to descend to. We looked at a wall. I did let housekeeping know and they comped us $100 because they could not give us another king room (although there were MANY available) due to Travelzoo price. I think the hotel tried to make things right but I felt we kind of lost a day of our vacation due to hotel difficulties. Everything was very slow...slow to get a bellman, slow to check in although 3 people working and no-one in line, slow to get a house manager etc. Parking was too expensive. I'm not inclined to return.

Fantastic property! Reviews were good on this and I still think it exceeded expectations. The room was huge, with a nice view of the grounds and partial bay view. Staff was incredibly helpful, water stations throughout the hotel and it's literally located right on the bay. Try the Short Rib Chilaquiles at Covewood.
