The Cambria is a beautiful modern hotel. The lobby is lovely and inviting with warm lighting and a comfortable ambience. The room was on the top floor with a gorgeous harbor view. It might have been an upgrade but nothing was said or asked for. It may be that their policy is to just give you the nicest room available. The bathroom is swanky, very sleek. The mattress and linens were first rate. Temperature controls were easy and intuitive. The hotel is very convenient to the downtown shopping area but on a quiet adjacent street.

It was our second visit so we were familiar with the parking situation and the unusual layout. We wish we knew, perhaps through Travelzoo, that the room isn't made up during the stay. When that happens at other hotels, there is usually a sign in the room or they notify you at check in. It wasn't a huge issue, but we avoided our room for several hours because the cleaning cart was near our room so we were surprised when we returned and it hadn't been touched.

Parking arrangements inadequate; elevator access to garage limited; restaurant staff incompetent; maid service only if requested; location not "harborview;" value of daily credit limited by expense of market items.

Only providing two bottles of water for two people for two nights seemed a bit sad, but it was fine.
