For the Breakfast Buffet, having staff serve food really slowed down the line. I counted 25+ people waiting. All other staff and service was good.

Hotel was in a great location and the view of the bay from our room was amazing! Only knock on the hotel is that the carpet in the room and hallways are dated and worn. The trim inside of the windows also appears worn.

We had a great visit to San Diego staying at the Embassy Suites. The location was fantastic - with Seaport Village across the street - we ate two meals at restaurants there, and another two meals at restaurants across the street at The Headquarters at Seaport. There were many other restaurants in walking distance - or just a short ride away. The suite itself was very nice and we had a lovely view of the harbor. The breakfasts included with the stay were plentiful with many choices, although the hot food wasn't very hot. It should be noted that the other fees associated with the room rate (parking, destination fee, room taxes, etc) were over $100 a day, which seems high.

Mandatory fees,4 different taxes, provisional and transitory fees, and the parking fee increased my total bill by $135 over the room rate quoted. I will not be purchasing anything from Travelzoo until all fees are quoted.

We loved this Travelzoo special. The location is perfect - across the street from Seaport Village. We got half off parking which was great, $25 off the restaurant, a great breakfast included, and a welcome reception with 2 drinks per person. Our room was huge - a king bedroom suite.

The location of the property was great. Close to attractions and trolley/ and stops. Close to Seaport Village and Petco Park area. All walkable and close to Coronado Island ferry as well.Staff were all friendly and helpful. It's wonderful that Embassy Suites have free breakfast and cocktail hour.

Wonderful place to stay and would stay there again if I were to visit San Diego at another time.
