The decor in the lobby/bar/restaurant and the outside patio was lovely; the staff worked very hard.

Room was not well lighted; floor was sticky; TV was screwed up and we had to get help to access channels and guide; "call the front desk if you need something immediately," but you only get an answering machine; restaurant and bar were staffed with just one person who was check-in clerk, bar tender, waitress, and bus-girl all at once; food service was slow because there was only one person in the kitchen; martini made with well gin was $18! etc.

Think of it as a very thoughtfully, comfortably, aesthetically pleasingly remodeled 2-story motel with a lobby bar and outdoor seating area. I'm waiting to hear back from property about charging my credit card when I did not overspend dining credit that was explicitly included in booking rate. Check out was automated, so did not know until departure.

This was our first visit to Lenox, MA and we decided to go because of your offer. We loved it! The hotel was very nice, clean with a lovely bar and dining area. It was about 10 minutes from town so it made it very convenient and on site parking is always a plus for us. We went to Tanglewood, The Mount and the Ventfort Hall, a gilded age mansion. The countryside in the Berkeshires was breathtaking. It was a wonderful getaway for us! We want to go back! Anymore good deals in the Berkeshires?! Thanks for inspiring us to travel and experience new places!

Berkshires Untold is a lovely property and the staff was very helpful, friendly and gracious. Rooms were very nicely decorated and very comfortable. All in all, it was a great experience!

We expected a resort but found a remodeled Motor Inn reminiscent of the 1950s. Check-in was easy. Room was adequate but not large. Bathroom had been remodeled nicely, but main room was clean but not fancy. Heating/AC unit was noisy and less than consistent. It felt safe and was quiet, so no real complaints. Price was appropriate for weekdays in season, but Travel Zoo price was the same as standard rate, Staff were accommodating with limited resources. Owners seemed to be in the process of further upgrades.

We received $30/day credits on meals. We had breakfast both days. Menu was very limited and eggs tasted like they were frozen and reheated. Meal credit did not completely cover both simple meals. Credits were not automatically applied, so we did not even get to use the second day's credit. Most chain hotels would have been a better value for meals. Travel Zoo ad implied a somewhat luxurious resort. Reality was more of a no-frills, rustic roadside inn.

The $30 meal credit on the Travelzoo deal was great.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. My only minor complaint is that the room was very dark, even when all the lamps were turned on.

We loved our stay at Berkshires Untold. We enjoyed sitting outside and just reading or relaxing with a drink. The inside where the bar/lobby is great. It was very chill and a great place to chat or, again, read and have a drink. We hope to come back again. We were able to take our dog, and he enjoyed the surrounding area.
