On a cold weekend, lots of cold air seeped through the door, room was dark even during mid day. Rooms on the smaller side, showed a bit of wear and tear. View was lovely, close to lots of sites and events, parking was easy. Staff a bit stressed when we arrived, but warmed up during our stay.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the renovated motel was, especially for the deal we got. The king size room with a provided pack n play was the perfect size for two adults and a baby, and the location was great.

We arrived on a Sunday and were informed by a not very friendly employee that the restaurant was closed for a private party that evening (the only night it was due to be open during our stay). The private party consisted of 4 people. Also not crazy about the outside entrance.

The room as far as I was concerned was not as pictured. It was very, very dark and dingy. In order to get any kind of housekeeping or service we had to send a text to whomever was handling the restaurant/bar/the front desk which was part of the bar. The rug in the main lobby area was filthy.

Instead of alcohol in the room, would prefer coffee and tea. We lost electricity early in the evening; I guess it was a breaker BUT we loved the lobby and outside fire pits. We would love to stay again and will recommend it. We are so thankful for Travelzoo. We needed a mini vacation.

This is a motel turned into a (kinda) boutique hotel. The bar/lobby/restaurant is attractive, and outdoor seating around fire pits is a nice feature. The rooms are pleasant enough, functional (except it's hard to control the temperature). No coffee machines in rooms, but available in the lobby. Very close to nice places to eat near the heart of Lenox, and near venues we wanted to visit (e.g., the Norman Rockwell House and Museum, the Edith Wharton mansion and grounds, etc.)
Other Comments
The bartender made me a mena Espresso Martini -- but with tip it set me back $25. I think I'd have been back for more drinks if the prospect of 4 martinis costing me $100 wasn't an issue.
