It was an exceptional place to stay! We stayed in a beachside bungalow and it was heavenly! The singers under the tree nightly was an awesome experience. Stacey at the front desk helped us check in early to an upgrade when I arrive sick. The staff were so friendly, even in the restaurant .

The staff were great and friendly. The grounds were nice but absolutely NO shade areas by the pools so I didn’t spend much time outside. Overall it’s a good package for someone who wants a decent budget priced package

Not the hotel specifically. The staff were fine. But the rooms are very outdated and small. The view from the room was not great. Also the breakfast buffet was mediocre. Not what we’re used to. The restaurant food was just ok. I think if they update the old furniture and very small bathrooms it would help. Also the restaurant food wasn’t up to what we’re used to in Maui.

The Royal Lahaina is amazing and the staff were so friendly. It’s a bit away from anything (20 minute walk/7-10 minute drive) but there is a shuttle that runs from 10 am to 9 pm to other resorts and Whaler’s Village. If you’re fine with the same restaurant, there is literally no reason to leave. Two pools and beach access with plenty of amenities and rental options made it so nice!

Parking is $40 or Valet for $45. We had the included resort credit which couldn’t b used toward parking, but could be used for beach activities, gift shop, food, drinks and ice cream.
