Why We Love This Deal

Originally built in 1962, Royal Lahaina is a Maui fixture. Among this renovated 4-star resort's bragging rights are a perfect oceanfront location on Kaʻanapali Beach—near Whaler's Village and snorkeling spots—and The Myths of Maui, the longest-running luau on the island.

In addition to reduced nightly rates, this offer comes with some of the best perks we've seen. You'll get daily breakfast, a $100 nightly resort credit and two complimentary luau tickets. All told, that's $850 in perks for a 3-night stay. Hint: The longer you stay, the more you save.

Some staff members looked like they didn’t want to be there. The pool bartender Mike and his partner were great

Very relaxing vacation. Perfect location. We upgraded to a suite when we arrived. Carpets need an upgrade.
Other Comments
We would have loved housekeeping every day. The breakfast buffet was good but the food in the metal pans was never really hot. The waitstaff at the restaurant is hit or miss.

We upgraded to a nice ocean front suite with a full kitchen. Great views and very comfortable room. Beautiful grounds and a nice place to stay. I would dine elsewhere.
Other Comments
The restaurant changed from a regular ala cart menu to a buffet breakfast, which is not appealing to me.

I felt like the deal was really a good deal that we had. Also, it was neat to be within walking distance of a couple of snorkeling sites

We absolutely loved our stay. We did have to avoid multiple people who brought speakers to the pools and beach, which was annoying. The rooms were tidy and the views were beautiful, the beach was less crowded than those nearby and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and relaxation. Breakfast buffet was pretty much the same every day, we really could have used some more variety, but we mostly ate elsewhere. There were also many birds and the maintenance around bird feces removal our first few days was not kept up with. Eating breakfast and having to watch where you rest your arms is unnerving. They did begin cleaning it mid week, so I’m not sure if they were understaffed at the time. Even with that said, When we come back to Maui this would be the first place I’d consider staying again!
