The resort is run down and in poor condition. Room was horrible. Patched holes in walls, loose tiles in entryway and bathroom. The receptionist was not warm or welcoming. We checked out a day earlier the same receptionist checked us out. Said we were already checked out and could not provide a statement or receipt as their printer was not working. We were charged and additional $69 which they said were "Resort Fees" the Travelzoo promotion stated that everything was included.

They put me in a room with 2 tiny bed. Said they were completely full so couldnt move us. I'm 5'1 and my feet were off the bed. My husband and baby and I could not sleep all on the bed together.

One of the pools was ok. The bar was fun except they were very cheap on actual alcohol.

So many things. Beach smelled. It wasn't really a beach. Room was old. Bath leaked. The shower went from hot to cold. Things didn't work. Door impossible to open with one person. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned. Chairs with umbrellas were never available. part of floor torn. Air conditioner went on and off.

The exterior grounds, Bed and staff were nice. I tried to talk to management and they did not return my calls!

Rooms were old and needed structural repairs. Entry door would not shut very easy and also didn’t lock with the supplemental lock. Toilet had flushing issue and water in the shower fluctuated extremely hot to cold with every use! Bathroom fan broken. Restaurant was closed for multiple days and forced us to leave for virtually every meal.

All good except housekeeping was lax. One day, the room wasn't cleaned, and on two other days, they neglected to leave towels, but they were delivered to the room quickly after a call to the front desk.
