The hotel was nice and in a good location. However, there was an error with out booking and the booked us in the wrong section of rooms, so they had to find us another room In the correct area and it was almost 4:45 (45 after check in so time) that we finally got our room. They did give us a bottle of wine and a comp drink which was nice.

Great location and great room. The bed and breakfast buildings are scattered about, so make sure to check the location when picking a room.

We loved all the resort amenities. We stayed in Room 702 and were pleasantly surprised to have a nice pool right outside our room. The only drawback to the room was its size. Very small and no where to hang wet clothes, store suitcases, etc. We stayed mostly outside though, so it was tolerable and a great location! Breakfast was awesome as well. We would definately stay here again but get a bigger room. The travelzoo deal was a great price.

Very nice, clean room, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, included, was a custom omelette with a view of the beach! Front desk was great! Ask for a golf cart ride to your room if it is a bit far. No complaints.

The staff was wonderful. The room was beautiful very small didn’t even have a closet very very small. It’s not what I expected for the money to be honest with you. It could’ve been a little bit bigger.

Our room in the Avalon House did not live up to expectations mainly because of its size. It was to be appropriately 300 sq. feet but was actually much smaller. It made European rooms look big. However, the young man at the reception desk saved the trip by finding us a very nice room in the Atlantic building of their resort. Good sized with partial ocean view balcony, just what we wanted. There was a reasonable daily upcharge fee which we gladly accepted. The resort and all of its amenities was a great place to spend four days & nights. So, we would highly recommend the Southernmost Beach Resort and would be happy to return.

the picture shows the avalon house, but we were booked up the street at duval. we did pay extra and moved to avalon house, facilities were nice.

The blow dryer in our room was the WORST I have ever used--Hardly any air flow. Also, there are no hooks on the walls (or in bathroom) wet towels, wet bathing suits, wet hair wraps - where do you want me to put this stuff......
