Great Central Park location. Pleasant front desk staff. Room was fine. Le Jardin, rooftop restaurant/bar was the biggest surprise, in a good way. Wonderful atmosphere, attentive service, creative cocktail, excellent food (guacamole appetizer; pork belly tacos). I would return for the stay location and to repeat this meal!

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about the Le Meridien New York. The staff was amazing, even letting us check in at our 6 am arrival after a red eye flight. The rooms were small as per typical New York standards but very well laid out and comfortable. Spacious bathroom. The on site restaurant was amazing and we ate there every day - definitely took advantage of the $40 per day food credit. Also loved the location. So much within walking distance and very easy to catch a train or bus when not.

Close to Central Park but not much shopping other than Nordstrom. Travelzoo rates were great. Would stay again.

Exceptional value and great location. Our room was small and no view but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was good size. The room could use an update - the wood is chipped and needs to be replaced.
The restaurant is excellent. It doesn’t feel like you are in a hotel, it feels like a French restaurant. Good breakfast choices, the omelet was excellent with a great salad. One complaint: eggs don’t come with toast. It’s $6.00 for 2 pieces of toast!

The location of this property was excellent for attending the theatre and events at Lincoln Center. Although the property is showing some wear, it was extremely clean. What made this stay so positive was the wonderful staff. Everyone I met was welcoming and gracious. There was one issue with my bill -- the daily $40 food credit was not applied to my account. However, the issue was quickly resolved after speaking with a customer. I would most certainly stay at Le Meridien Central Park on a future visit.

Great room; kind staff; i had a travel delay so didn't get to use the first night, but after calling the manager, he made sure the room was still available when I arrived early the second day. I was surprised that you get $40 credit per day to use the restaurant (which was very good) and the fun rooftop bar. Fantastic location.

I was nervous when I first called the hotel to confirm my reservation. The person at the desk would not take any preferences and could not enter my Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty number, and he claimed it was because I did not book through the hotel. He also told me there were no min-fridges in the room and when I asked if I could get one he said not until I check in since I didn't make the reservation through the hotel. I thought they would treat us badly and give us a bad room since we got a discount on the room. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was great. We got a quiet room that was pretty high up. Not much of a view, but that was okay. Rooms were a bit outdated and dark. I would only stay there again if I got a deal on the rate. They also had coolers in the rooms, so I didn't need a mini-fridge. Not sure why the person on the phone didn't just tell me that.

Everything about this choice I am so happy with. The location was excellent, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. I felt very comfortable and as if the hotel was willing to go above and beyond for me. That is rarely a feeling I get at a hotel. I felt the value is awesome and I would highly recommend this location and this hotel chain to anybody.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was a good size for its location in central Manhattan, and I enjoyed the proximity to Broadway shows, Central Park, delicious restaurants, and public transportation. This hotel is amazing. The location can not be beat. An easy walk tot he park, to the theater and to time square. We ate at the restaurant twice. The front desk people and concieger were very helpful. The room was comfortable . Only good things to say about the entire visit. We will be back.

Excellent location. We were visiting Carnegie Hall and only a few minutes walk from hotel. Since it was cold and rainy location was perfect. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom a little old fashioned.

Overall, a wonderful experience. We had a problem with our room on first night (the door didn't lock so felt unsafe overnight). They moved us the next day to another room. The original room (low floor, back alley view) was consistent with a low cost for that level of hotel, as expected.

Overall, it was a nice hotel but definitely didn’t feel like a true 5 star hotel. The perks were nice like the $40 restaurant credit- but even that had some qualms such as the fact that you couldn’t use it on the day of departure (such as for breakfast).
