My wife and I had a wonderful visit tothe Le Meridian. The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful. In particular, Carlos was wonderful. He was extremely helpful from the time we arrived, throughout our stay, and until we left. The rooms definitely are smallish. However, the hotel has figured out how to pack a lot of amenities into a smaller room. The refrigerator was wonderful. The shower was excellent. Overall, even though the rooms were small they were very accommodating. The rooftop restaurant/bar was excellent. The hotel was perfectly positioned to be fairly close to the time. Square area, very close to the subway, and two blocks from Central Park. so is located in a very nice area, which made it accessible to many parts of the city.

Price through Travel Zoo made the stay worth it. Great location. The normal price for the room is very high. The room was small, but more or less standard in NYC. Although the bathroom was all tile and marble, it's a bit dated. Hotel staff was very nice. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch.

Great stay. Was surprised to see the additional $45/day destination fee.
Other Comments
Great, friendly staff. Hotel package (through Travelzoo) included a bottle of champagne, $25/day credit to use at the bar or restaurant, daily passes to museums like the MOMA. These made up for an additional $45/day destination fee.

I had varying experiences with the enthusiasm of the lobby staff. Three of them had no response about the cost of pedi-cabs, and didn’t lift a phone to ask AI. Felt like a budget hotel in that way. Otherwise, the room was fantastic, bed was comfy, bathroom lighting was great, location was ideal. I would stay again.
