Beautiful, quiet and relaxing hotel. The spa was beautiful and well appointed. The pool, pool staff and service was wonderful! The poke’ bowl was one of the best I’ve had. We ordered it every afternoon, while we were at the pool, (3 days). All staff was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

The one drawback… the beds could be upgraded a bit. They were pretty flat, with little to no support. Similar to sleeping on a cot. Pillows were great though!

The room was very nice and large. The view from the patio was relaxing and scenic. The grounds are so great with firepits, plenty of lounging areas, a pool and walking paths. The rate through Travelzoo along with the extra perks make this a must. This is our 2nd time booking it through Travelzoo.

I would 100% go back to Tommy Bahama Miramonte. I took a chance on booking them, as I never heard of them before. The resort was located directly across from Indian Wells golf course, which was a home run for my husband an avid golfer. And we took advance of the discount offered to Tommy Bahama patrons.
From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with warm smiles and recognized as Travelzoo members. The person at the desk reminded us we had a 20% off discount on the restaurant and spa as part of the Travelzoo deal. He also told us we could have an extended checkout at 1 p.m. since my husband was golfing the morning we were leaving.
The pools were beauitful, as was the property. We had a room close to the quiet pool, which was really convienent. The property was filled with firepits for everyone to lounge in front of and enjoy. They also had lawn games to use.
The restaurant - the Grapefruit Basil - was delicious with excellent service as well. The highlight was the main pool - which had ample seating and towels and a pool bar with great service.
I highly recommend this resort to anyone staying in the Palm Desert area!

The young man that checked us in Saturday evening was awful and lacked any sort of warmth and customer service. When I asked a question about the vicinity he replied I can not answer that because it’s not on our property. That’s not hospitality.
The next unpleasant encounter was Sunday with the hostess of the restaurant who came outside and told us we could not sit at the tables because “ it will confuse the staff” then she continued to argue with the lovely pool server who said we could use a table to eat our lunch we ordered from him. It’s the tone she used that was inappropriate and the way she spoke to a co-worker was uncomfortable. No problem we are happy to move and understand the many open outdoor seating that no one was using is for the restaurant but it was her manner in which she delivered the news.

Our family was not able to check-in at our promised check-in time (4pm). We also requested an early check-in but that was not a guarantee. We felt like the hotel management failed us twice before we started our holiday getaway.
We took our children to the main pool after the happy hour & Live DJ party died down and the pool area was a complete dump!
Talk about a disaster… I understand the hotel wants to sell drinks and have people enjoy themselves but do the pool rules disappear when it’s a holiday & a Live DJ is present?! Drinks and alcohol were spilled into the poolside with cups lined up along the side of the pool like a frat party. Does hotel management not have the authority to enforce the pool rules of no alcoholic drinks inside the pool? It shouldn’t be a big deal for hotel management or hotel security to tell an adult with a drink in their hand inside the pool that type of behavior is not allowed. There was a live DJ on site, the DJ could make announcements or reminders to all guests about the pool rules so everyone enjoys the pool - simple, but no this hotel management clearly allowed it to be a free for all, all rules out the window because it’s a holiday and there’s a live DJ playing music.
Not only was it an eye sore to see the aftermath of the frat party but no staff was around to clean up the mess either. My family and I came to this hotel to enjoy the amenities and we couldn’t because the main pool area was a dump!
We even had dinner at the hotel restaurant and used one of the complimentary drink vouchers. Upon checking-out, we learned our waiter never applied the discount, so we had to argue this one item.
Lastly, we requested a late check-out since we did not receive our early check-in and we were told No, that was not possible. Overall, this trip was a huge bust and major disappointment for the whole family unfortunately.

Wonderful landscaped grounds - very well kept and clean - my onlt gripe was food service both at pool and at Grapefruit Basil restaurant for linch was over 45 minutes each time - service was very very slow - but friendly helpful staff all around - maybe they were shorthanded - also no housekeeping for 3 nights - they were apologetic but still...sloppy...I gave 5 stars to staff since they really tried and were apologetic about long waits for food and service.

Many things, but most importantly, the food was so awful. I ordered the scallops. When the food came I thought I was looking at a plastic picture of pasta. It was so gluey and the scallops were way overcooked and the taste was terrible. I apologized to the waiter for being unhappy but told him I was not paying for dinner. He took it away and did not charge me. Two of our friends ordered burgers. They were "cold" to the touch and had no flavor. Another friend ordered the wedge and couldn't tell what the taste was. The next morning we went for coffee about 6am. They said it would be out at 7am. It didn't come out at all. Other things happened but I think you know where I'm coming from.

We have stayed here before and gotten a normal room. The water they have also leaves really bad hard water spots on your car if the sprinklers hit it which can be quite frustrating when you just got your car done. I would never complain about something so simple seeming but it's bad.
