The room was clean and functional. The refrigerator could’ve been a little colder. Access to a microwave would have been very helpful. We loved the ice and filtered water machine available in the hallway. We also really liked the lobby area. It was super useful when calling an Uber. The hotel itself is located about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the subway. The Italian restaurant downstairs was very good for dinner. It didn’t seem to open on time for breakfast, and was really not useful to us throughout the day. Other dining options were not in the immediate area, so you could locate some about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The circle where the hotel is located as a lot of honking and traffic noise. Also, the rooms have thin walls so you can hear all of your neighbors activity.

I had never used Travelzoo before and was extremely pleased. We got a great price on our hotel especially since this was during Cherry Blossom season. The hotel and ALL staff members were outstanding. I would definitely use Travelzoo again.

First our room had an air conditioner that didn’t work. After two nights we asked for a transfer. It took the front desk forever to get that done. We asked in the morning and by the time we came back late afternoon it still had not been done. Also the dining room was totally closed one morning for breakfast and we were told that staff just didn’t show up. This made us spend money in transportation to go out to get breakfast. Costing us an extra $20 needlessly. One front desk woman was very unwelcoming and not professional. The rest were fine. The location required us to take lots of Ubers to go to anything downtown

Everything about this hotel was wonderful EXCEPT our check in experience. We had two reservations, for two couples. Travelzoo sent me two confirmations with two reference numbers, etc. Upon arriving at the hotel after driving for 6 hours, the hotel only had one reservation in their system. The front desk attendant could not fix the issue without a manager, who was in a meeting. We waited an HOUR after being told repeatedly by the desk attendant to "Sit down, please be patient". Finally, we lost our patience, told the attendant to stop telling us to sit down and to stop telling us to be patient. Waiting an hour is more than patient! We told the desk attendant to personally go get the manager, and the manager fixed the issue AND upgraded our rooms. From that point on things got better, but it was a very rough start.

Location was fine-probably would have preferred something a little closer to the Mall as we walked everywhere- but still, very walkable

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and a great dining option. Close to DuPont Circle or Farragut North metro stations. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The lady at check in was wonderful with every tourist who came in, giving out maps and making sure everyone was comfortable walking around the city.

Excellent hotel. Room e=was larger than most, I like the door that separated the beds from the bathroom/entrance area. Jayna was our waitress - very nice great service. Ben the manager was also very nice.
