This hotel was in a great location. The $25 parking fee is a bit steep, however, it was a safe and convenient parking garage.

I live about an hour north, but for me this experience seems like I've traveled the world! The hospitality at this hotel is second to none. It's directly on the Gulf and The hotel is renovated, clean and very welcoming!

It was absolutely wonderful! The renovation is beautiful. The staff is amazing! Joy, Jan, Darla, Gary, Alex, Robin, Shannon, Melissa & Derrick were all so friendly & attentive. The food ar Coconut Charlie’s is delicious! I can’t wait to go back-hopefully in October.

We arrived around 8:30 pm Saturday night to check in. We secured a parking spot which is pretty tough there, we then grabbed most of all of our stuff and carried it up for check in. We waited to check in & they did not have a room for us, they said that they had us checking in for the next day Sunday for only one day stay. I showed them my reservation email from you stating that I was booked for two days and showed the charges for two days and they said they were sorry but we did not have a room for us that they were completely booked. I said you have got to be kidding & "Nope" they said we are booked for tonight. Okay, now what? unbelievable! So they called their manager at another Hilton property & were trying to see what happened & if they could find anything close to where we were located at the beach. There were no rooms available on any of their nearby properties so it took over a half hour for them to look for something inland meanwhile my husband was very unhappy with me and the fact that I used a third party to book the room. So, needless to say it very upsetting, as we were suppose to be starting a mini beach vacay so to speak as I work 6 days a week and we have friends that live near by and were planning to visit them. I have not had any problems in the past that I can remember with Travelzoo. This was terrible as we then were both looking on our phones for another place they were not having any luck, and my husband is a Marriott guy so he was looking at their properties too and we were waiting & he was hungry and frustrated as a long day. They did finally find a room inland about 30 -35 minutes at Carrilon Business area for us which we had already of course just passed by on out way to their property so that further frustrated him. At least we had a place to put our heads down for the night. Restaurant choices were becoming limited as getting late so we ended up with a snack to hold us over. So, as you can see it was not a nice experience at all. The resort itself was great but with one day to stay didn't really partake of much. I have called your customer service and I am currently still waiting for an answer back from you all to help settle this. So far I am very disappointed in the service I have been given as I am waiting another call and hate that I keep having to call to follow up on this matter.
