The accommodations were very nice. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel has a very upscale vibe. The staff was 5 star, desk, bellman, valet, and restaurant/bartender all excellent and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The only drawback was the 30.00 resort fee. Coffee in the room, a bottle of water, and free WiFi is pretty standard anywhere, without being charged a fee. I was disappointed in the 10.00 credit at the restaurant ;continental breakfast would be much better. They also included a car service when I booked but it has been discontinued.

My daughter and I enjoyed a long weekend at the Royal Sonesta. Great location, nicely decorated, spacious rooms and excellent staff. If you stay there, have a chat with Ben who is in charge of valet parking. Very interesting and entertaining.

Very nice hotel near the Metro. The restaurant is way over priced for breakfast but you do not need to eat there. The resort fee of $35.00 should be way less but I guess this is a typical hotel practice.
Other Comments
$20. For a resort fee would be more reasonable.
