It would be great to have better insulation between the cabins (direct access door upstairs). Two small kids were next to us and it felt like they were running and screaming in our place.

So much to do here - tennis, bocce, pickleball, ping pong, pool, hiking, jacuzzi, just to name a few! It is a bit of a walk up to the higher rooms so I would not recommend it for anyone who has difficulty getting around.

We spent a weekend here with our 2 young kids and had an amazing time! The grounds are sprawling and very well-kept. The pool and hot tub kept our kids entertained for hours. The scenery is beautiful, and we also enjoyed short hikes around the property. We are looking forward to a return trip!

The room was spacious and clean. The grounds were impressive and well maintained. Staff was gracious and kind. We loved our stay! It was very relaxing a peaceful.

There are fans and heat but no air conditioning in the room. The condos/chalets are up a hill behind the main lodge, and there are only walking paths to access them, so be prepared to carry any luggage. There are some ramps but at least a few stairs are required. Once you are settled, it makes for a very peaceful stay! The service is excellent, and I would definitely stay again!

We booked the deluxe chalet for a weekend trip of three adult women looking for a peaceful weekend away. As friends we do this a couple times a year always looking for a new place to relax and renew. This place was great! It really gave off the summer camp vibe to us. Beautiful, peaceful, fireplaces in every room. We played games in the lodge next to the fire, we ate a meal in the dining room, and one in the tavern. We like the ease of parking (in our chalet but noticed not all had that). We liked the idea of not having to leave the place all weekend. We hiked, played pickleball and enjoyed the fireplace while relaxing in the indoor spa. Lots and lots of amenities. The staff was attentive and friendly. Isabella who helped us in the craft room was just the friendliest person! We loved her and felt she was a wonderful employee who went out of her way to see that we enjoyed ourselves.
Now, a couple unexpected things… our chalet had a room divider separating the other half. The partition like those used to separate conference rooms. Weird. We could hear the family next door’s conversations because it was not a wall. Just strange. We would have thought we would have been told if we didn’t get the whole deluxe chalet. The rooms were nice and comfy but lacked a table (to play games at). A coffee table, a couch and a couple chairs and lots of empty space in the main room. Just a weird layout. We drug the large chairs over close to the fireplace when we lit that. For so many guests the food situation was limited. The dining hall was fancy, wait staff was amazing, the food was delicious but hours were very limited. Like breakfast being available for 1.5 hours… if you missed the dining hall your only choice was the tavern that had a VERY limited menu. It was good food but a burger, pizza annd one other thing was your meal choices. If you didn’t like that or missed the dining halls limited hours, you would then have to drive to town to get food.

We will be back. We will ask about the chalet and shared space next time. We will know about the dining halls limited hours and plan accordingly. We loved all the activities and all the staff.

We had a wonderful quick getaway to Lake Arrowhead and stayed at UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge.
The lodge was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The lake views were stunning, especially in the morning and at sunset. It was the perfect place to relax and unplug for a few days.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing mountain escape!
