The front desk and lounge employees were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the breakfast donuts and locally roasted coffee in the morning. The hotel was well decorated and artsy, and close to wine tasting and fine dining. We can't wait to stay again and bring our pup next time!

The price per location can’t be beat. The television stations would go in and out so that might bother some but I wasn’t there to watch tv.

Loved the pool patio area surrounded by rooms. Jacuzzi was a little cool,but there were fire pits near chairs. Rooms were large and clean with frig and microwave and hot drinks to make. Continental breakfast was provided. Lighting was too dim. Beds were comfortable, but would like additional chair at bar area for eating in front of TV.

Good place to stay, away from high traffic areas near Solvang.

Breakfast was very disappointing. They give you donuts. I do not consider donuts as breakfast. They also tried charging a resort fee when it was clearly waived as part of Travelzoo. The food truck was also closed for the entire week.

The hotel is a definite upgrade from the previous time we stayed there seven years ago. The rooms were clean and the decor was nice. We would probable stay there again

Sideways was previously a Best Western but has been upgraded and more modern. On our first night, our room was next to an electrical room" but ended up being the laundry facility for the hotel. We were awakened at 12:30 but a lot of noise from the adjoining room that kept recycling. Another neighboring room sounded like it's bathroom fan had been left on. By 02:00 I went to the office and a very pleasant young lady made an effort and changed us to a different room. It was very quite and peaceful. The doors on the rooms are similar to an office door with a window. There are no pull-down shades available to help block out some of the light. The Travelzoo ad had a photo of stores and

Great value for the quality of our room. Our room was clean, large, and recently renovated. The bed was pretty comfy too. Friendly staff.

The shower pressure was pretty weak and the TV cable stream quality was very glitchy, but everything else was great. Would consider staying here again.

Other than a strange sliding door separating the bathroom from the rest of our room, we enjoyed our stay.
