I went for leisure and enjoyed my stay. I felt like it was really a 4.5 star hotel. The staff were great. The design was beautiful. It's the most eco-friendly hotel I've stayed at.

The hotel charges a $20 resort fee but then provides a coupon worth $20 at the restaurant or bar or 15% off a spa service. $20 covers one breakfast order with enough food for two.

The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location. The staff were great and quickly rectified an issue I had at check-in. The room was very comfortable and the chair by the window was perfect for relaxing and reading. Bargello, one of the onsite restaurants, was able to accommodate my request for a vegan dinner and had an excellent strawberry sorbet for dessert. If you're staying in Asheville without a car this is an excellent choice.
