Lydia Deetz, daughter of Charles and Delia, moves into her new house to discover something strange. The previous residents are still there—as ghosts. And the deceased want their house back. To chase the living out, they've enlisted the unpredictable demon Beetlejuice. All sorts of spooky hijinks ensue as Lydia confronts loss, family and the afterlife.
