$39 & up—Love, lies and obsession at Lyric Opera

Based on Oscar Wilde’s provocative one-act play, "Salome "returns to Lyric for the first time in 20 years with the U.S. debut of a striking production from Sir David McVicar, setting the story in pre-war Italy and using its lavish visuals to highlight themes of power, obsession and excess.

"Così fan tutte" performs on select dates Feb. 1–13. Tickets range from $39–$99 (reg. $60–$237) for seats throughout the venue. 

Lighthearted, clever and full of romantic chaos, "Così fan tutte" is an opera that plays like a classic romantic comedy. The story follows two smug officers who decide to test their fiancées’ loyalty by swapping identities and trying to seduce each other’s partners.
