Why We Love This Deal

Michael R. Jackson's Pulitzer Prize-winning "A Strange Loop" is headed to Boston this spring, and Travelzoo members can score discounted tickets for shows at the Calderwood Pavilion.

This "audacious and uproarious musical" (The Guardian) opens April 26 and runs through May 25. Tickets range from $35-$45 (reg. $70-$90) for orchestra and mezzanine seats. (Non-offer seats starting at $25 are also available.)

Winner of the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and 2022 Tony Award for Best Musical, "A Strange Loop" follows the story of Usher, a Black, queer writer working on a musical about a Black, queer writer working on a musical about (you guessed it) a Black, queer writer.

Frequently overwhelmed by moments of self-doubt but determined to overcome them, Usher dives deep into the meta-meditations of his mind to break free from the societal expectations that plague him and forge his own path as an artist.

Note: Age recommendation is 17 and up. This production contains explicit language, references to racism, sexual assault, homophobia and scenes of an adult natureAdditional fees starting at $5.50 will be added at checkout, but that is standard for all purchases.

Travelzoo tip: Tickets cost $35 (reg. $70) the first weekend and $45 (reg. $90) for the rest of the performances.
