£39 – Norfolk: Michelin Guide-Rated Dinner For 2, Reg £84

The Deal

For the equivalent of £19.50 each, two people can enjoy a 3-course meal served with a glass of prosecco at The Walpole Arms in Itteringham -- this experience would regularly cost up to £84.

The Michelin Guide praises the “interesting, Mediterranean-influenced menu,” at this country inn, noting its "generous, well-prepared dishes and appealing daily specials”.

The menu changes daily, but you can choose from:
- Any two starters, like salad of crozier blue, pickled fig, hazelnuts, green bean and rocket, or crayfish tails with spicy Vietnamese cabbage, mango purée and prawn crackers
- Any two main courses, such as locally caught sea bass with saffron mash, baked tomato & gazpacho salsa, or 8oz sirloin steak with dauphinoise potatoes, savoy cabbage and mushroom jus
-Any two desserts, like Italian chocolate and almond torte with crème fraiche and tipsy cherries, or baby brioche baked with apple and blackberry compote and brandy custard

This offer is valid Monday-Friday at lunchtime, or Monday-Thursday for dinner, until 5 April, 2012.

The Walpole Arms is located in the north Norfolk countryside, less than a mile from the National Trust’s historic Blickling Hall. It is only 10 minutes from Aylsham and 30 minutes from Norwich.
