Set along the Ottawa River on a massive, forested estate, this hotel (along with its surrounding nature) really comes to life in the spring. Known as the world’s largest log cabin, it’s been welcoming guests for over a century and offers myriad ways to relax and play.
Everyone else will pay $297–$314 a night, plus the $40 nightly resort fee. Travelzoo members can stay for $279–$299, fee included, plus you'll receive various credits to make your stay even more memorable.

What You Need to Know
- Cancellation policy: Credit card guarantee required. A one-night refundable deposit (room and tax) is required upon booking. Cancellations must be made 72 hours before arrival; the first night (room and tax) will be charged for cancellations received after this time, or no-shows
- Price based on up to two guests sharing a room; additional adults are +$50 per guest, per night
- Up to two children ages 17 and under may stay free of charge when using existing bedding; do not include children in the total number of guests when booking
- Children ages 0-5 eat free from the children's menu
- Pet-friendly; additional fees of $55 (plus tax) per room, per night for up to two pets applies
- Self-parking included; valet service available for $40 (plus tax) per day, including in and out privileges

We had a very nice stay only downside was I was never offered the $20 voucher towards lunch or dinner in the resteraunt and we ate there twice .

The hotel itself was beautiful and the breakfast buffet was amazing. But we were disappointed that the reality did not exactly match with the deal we got from Travelzoo. For example, we never got the $20 dining vouchers per day. Also, it was described all activities such as s'mores by the fire would be included. But when asked, we would need to order through room service and pay for it.

I felt the hotel looks a little in need of a refresh. Carpets and furnishings need redoing . The place is a treasure and hopefully will be looked after for years to come.
