Yes the hotel was lovely. Didn't like that the cost of parking was almost double what they told us at the front desk when I called prior to arrival

We had a great stay. Very clean spacious room. The kids loved the tv free options. Love to watch. The restaurant that is owned by the hotel mossops is so so good, clean and very reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Also, the elevator gives a quick history of the hotel within Toronto, pretty interesting read !

Our booking through Travelzoo was easy to make and Travelzoo sent confirmation. However, neither Travelzoo nor the hotel provided a hotel confirmation number. This made it difficult for us to confirm the booking and advise of them of our evening arrival. It proved impossible to reach a human being at the hotel. I eventually had to contact Travelzoo, which then provided me with a hotel confirmation number. Check in went smoothly. We saw water and infused water available in the lobby, but there was only one clean glass for the two of us. Then, there was not enough water for us to drink. The room was pleasant. Good value for the promotional/sale price we paid. TV reception was spotty. It kept freezing on multiple channels, making it difficult to watch. Channel selection was limited. The one cleaning person we interacted with the next morning was very friendly. So, overall, it was an ok but somewhat mixed experience.
Other Comments
To me, the inability to navigate the hotel's phone system to speak to an individual is a red flag. Lack of water in the lobby and poor tv reception are minor issues for the hotel to address. Overall, if there were another promotion at the time we were travelling, I would by happy to consider returning to the hotel.
