We booked Brookstreet for my daughter’s birthday!! We had free parking, watched a movie & had a $40 credit towards breakfast the next day! Our room was lovely & we had early check-in!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish.
Location easy to find & not in crowded area.
Lovely lobby & spacious clean room.
The breakfast was amazing & probably the best I’ve had in years. Presentation of food was lovely, plentiful portions and delicious. Service at reception & in restaurant were wonderful, efficient & pleasant.
Best Hotel experience we’ve had in many years & thanks ti travelzoo we know about this place & will definitely visit again

Had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Brookstreet! Staff were very attentive and courteous, and my visit to the on-site spa was lovely. I was traveling solo, but look forward to bringing my family along next time! Location is not the most ideal for folks visiting Ottawa, but would recommend for locals looking for a staycation spot.

Room décor and styling feels outdated, bathroom fixtures could use updating. This hotel has the potential to be a chic and stylish spot, especially with the jazz lounge and spa on site!

Rooms were beautiful and well appointed. We had an adjoining room, and the sound through the shared door made it sound like the people were in our room. This woke us up hours before we were intending to wake up. I would refuse to accept an adjoining room at this hotel if I stayed in the future.

I took my grandchildren here to stay while we did various things in the area…was great …they loved the pool, enjoyed a movie on tv. Hotel staff were very accommodating…brought us a microwave upon request

I booked through Travelzoo & received a great deal for Sunday February 26 2023! Everything was great until checkout the next day! The Travelzoo deal gave us free parking, a free movie & $40.00 credit towards the spa or dining! We received free parking & a free movie but our breakfast was added to our bill! When I brought it to the attention of the guy at the front desk he told me the $40.00 should have been taken off but it wasn’t! He said Travelzoo sometimes isn’t compatible with their computer system! Since this took a long time to check it out he assured me he would email me the corrected bill! I am still waiting!

I booked with Travelzoo because of the excellent deal you gave us! However they charged us the $40.00 towards our breakfast! I would never have ordered an expensive breakfast at the hotel if I didn’t have the credit! I am still waiting on a reimbursement!

Hotel rooms are starting to be a bit dated. Stains on seat, sink stained and old, low toilets. Disappointed in bed sheet which was pilled.

All aspects of this hotel are at or above expectations - we love it when our need to visit (family and business) coincides with a discount! Easy in and out - quiet and enjoyable. Good breakfast and great service all around. Keep it up guys! Thanks.

This is definitely an uppper level business class hotel. The services all deemed themselves to be 5 star - in reality it may be a 4 star - 5 star to the businessperson used to the run of the mill hotels in "white collar" industrial parks.
There were little things that just did not make this five star although I must say staff was great overall and very friendly - lots of ammenities - great deal through Travelzoo. ....but they dropped the ball to often in little things to be truly 5 star - checkin knew I had two back to back reservations - check out did not and required a second visit to straighten it out... greaters at the jazz lounge were for both it and the restaurant - and that was not clear - and when she seated us in the restaurant she didn't transfer info to our waiter that should have been mentioned. Wine list at dinner has a half dozen wines - while the restaurant featured a many sided prominent wine cellar (all glass); but, we had to ask server who had to "especially get" the full wine list..... HUH???

5 star hotels vacuum halways and floors so the next morning one doesn't clearly still see last nights guests tracks and droppings in the morning! It was little things like that -- handicapped door opening buttons at a height that, despite being fully abled I had to reach up to activate them, when carrying my suitcase......I'm 5'10".
It is also way out in Kanata so unless work - or lure of a deal takes you there it really isn't anywhere near to Ottawa proper......yes at off hours the 417 allows under 20 min travel in ..... at busier times of the day you may be an hour plus out!
