A beautiful get away in a beautiful location. The ambience and atmosphere at the chateau and in the surrounding grounds and wooded area was lovely.
Other Comments
The rooms could use a little refresh, especially some of the carpets and bathrooms.

Historical hotel in a lovely setting but Fairmont are not caring for the property or it’s guests! So very sad!
Other Comments
Very old and dated, gloomy, not welcoming, very poor service, we waited 30 minutes to be served from the bar as there was only one person working. Indoor pool was closed. We disliked it so much we went home and did not stay the night even though we had paid for it.

Magical, unique hotel.
Other Comments
Rather over-priced and some of the wings are in need of updating.

Loved the hotel and the outdoor trails. Absolutely lovely property. Service was good too. Only complaint was that the rooms were a bit smaller than expected and the TV was placed in a weird angle that made it not possible to watch from the bed.

It is Fairmont, and the service is excellent. Room was ok, clean with king size bed. Dining was excellent but a bit pricy. Over $200 for 2 for dinner. Indoor pool was closed due to renovation and outdoor pool was open but too cold to enjoy. Golf course is nice.

Lovely location hotel is just starting to recover though after Covid… Number of things need a little bit of tender loving care and obviously staff shortages Are having an effect. Also impacted on other features such as outside dining etc… . That being said we enjoyed ourselves immensely and definitely a trip we’re glad we Had taken. The plus side of the covid impact is the number of yes we’re down … So all aspects of the hotel that were available we’re open to guests without delay.

We enjoyed the dinner and the use of the bicycles and the pool.Unfortunately the kayak rental was not open past 5 pm and check in was 4 pm.Rental of boats was not open on the Monday in the week as was shoulder season. The dinner was very good but the meals are quite pricey. We considered staying the next night but it would have been$200.00 more for a down grade room. We appreciated our Travelzoo but did not have enough time to do e bike tour that day.
