The Fairmount Manoir Richelieu is absolutely top notch! The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. We ased to change rooms and there was no problem. Our second room was lovely.

The food was first rate as well. We ate elsewhere the first night and for the rest of the time we stayed put and ate at our hotel. The food was comparably priced.

The hotel was beautiful but the service was spotty. We had dinner at the Bellarive restaurant and we had to wait a while to be seated because the person at reception had difficulty figuring out how to get people seated. At the bar the waitress brought us the wrong drinks and then overcharged us on the bill.
I was surprised at the extra charges as I thought that the amount we paid through Travelzoo was the full amount but we paid over $100 in extra charges at the hotel over and above what we paid for dinner and at the bar.

The selection of wine at the restaurants are horrible and expensive, none of them score more than 3.8 on the vivino app. One of the main reason I had my dinner at other locations.

Everything was great. Just a few things.
There was a “knocking “ sounds that happened on and off in our room. We were across from the elevator so perhaps that? We mentioned to front desk on second day and they did offer to change our room but we didn’t want to have to pack up and so the move as we only had two days there. Also, there were some staff who couldn’t understand any English at all, and communication was a challenge but we worked it out. Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly

We loved our stay at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. We can’t wait to go back and hope that TravelZoo will offer this deal again. We enjoyed the à la carte breakfast menu so much more than the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, The buffet breakfast did not offer many healthy or interesting options.

We really enjoyed our time there, despite the cool weather. The buffet breakfast was Really disappointing, especially for a hotel like a Fairmont. I felt like I was eating at a Best Western, Absolutely no imagination, powered eggs - disgusting. Same thing every morning. If it wasn’t included in Travelzoo package we definitely would of not paid for it.

They had a really nice looking mini golf course, unfortunately no one could play it since it wasn’t designed properly. Ball kept rolling.
