Absolutely Fantastic!

The staff were a bit inflexible, we mentioned that the room was smaller than we expected, and the staff only said that was our choice, without offering any upgrade options, or change options. The beds and robes were not washed properly. Both robes we had were dirty, one even had a large, quite obvious stain,I asked for it to be changed, and still got a dirty robe. Finally the AC unit in the room is quite loud, compared to a lot of the hotels we have stayed at.

Everything was great except the second day our bed was just thrown together with circular pillow on the floor. We told the front desk very politely and they resolved the problem.

Had the BEST weekend ever! My husband and I came for the weekend Retro Music concert. We were told that Sun Peaks has this every year, but it was our first time here for it. The weather was great and the music was fantastic. There were also great restaurants and coffee shops and the Farmers Market every Sunday was great as well. The village offers everything we need and want. We spent 3 nights and my husband wanted to go back after 2 days at home! We will definately be back in the very near future. Highly recommend!!!

We always stay at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre when we come up to Sun Peaks. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable.

We reserved a room with our cat and was really happy that the room's decor was very nice considering it was the one they gave us, are for people with fur babies.

I think the room that you pay extra to bring your fur baby should have a food and water dish for them.

It was quite frustrating that both days our room wasn’t cleaned while we were gone. Each day we were out of the room doing activities by 9:00. We had a whole day out of the room and when we came back at 4:30 to rest from our hikes, we had to leave again so that housekeeping could clean the room. The last day when we got back and the room wasn’t cleaned, there was a knock at the door and housekeeping didn’t offer to come in and clean—just asked if we needed anything and then were gone. I understand that there are a lot of rooms to clean but to be consistently the last rooms of the day to be cleaned was very frustrating m, especially since we had been out the entire day. Also—the elevator situation is abysmal. At the end of our stay we ended up having to carry all of our luggage down the stairs after attempting to wait for the elevator for 20 minutes. Not only are the elevators extremely slow, they were packed with people and there wasn’t any room for person when it stopped on our floor, let alone a luggage cart.

Very good overall experience. Did not like the fact one of the elevators was out of service and the other elevators were extremely slow.

We were on the hill for a concert and this hotel was in the ideal location for ease of access to the venue, and to all of the village. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and all the staff we encountered were exceptionally helpful.
